LOUNGE / DINING AREA
Villa Palmera boasts a contemporary spacious feel with its beamed vaulted ceilings and open plan lounge & dining area. Marble floors throughout enhance the luxurious feel to this property. 3 double Shuttered French doors open the lounge out onto to the terraces and private swimming pool.
In the dining area you will find a modern dining suite & leather chairs seating 6 people comfortably. Of course all crockery & tableware is provided, even down to Champagne flutes should you feel like celebating.
BEDROOMS / BATHROOMS
In the luxurious Ruby master bedroom suite you have the option of 2 single beds or an impressive Super King Size bed. Just let us know your preference & we'll arrange it for you. This room boasts an en-suite marble bathroom with twin basins, WC & Bidet. You can unwind in the jacuzzi / whirlpool bath or take an invigorating shower. The bedroom has 3 double shuttered French doors that open out onto the pool and terrace area, ideal to jump out of bed & straight into the pool for an early morning dip!
There are 2 further spacious double bedrooms, The Amber and Aqua bedrooms. Like the Ruby bedroom, these too can each be arranged as 2 singles or 1 Super King Size double. These rooms are served by a separate shower room with its own WC & bidet.
All the beds have Orthopaedic Quality Mattresses and Egyptian cotton sheets, add these together with the pure mountain air and tranquil surroundings and your sure to get a great nights sleep.

KITCHEN
For your convenience there is a fully fitted kitchen which includes american style fridge freezer, built in appliances including oven, modern halogen hob, microwave, extractor, and dishwasher. There is the separate utilty area including the washer/dryer. There's even an iron & ironing board should you need them.
OUTSIDE ENTERTAINING
A covered terraced entertaining area with built in BBQ & seating provide the perfect setting for a lazy lunch or laid back evening. We even provide unbreakable "glassware" for your safety.
There is also a dining table with seating for 6 under the pergola.
Sun loungers are also provided.
LOCATION
The property is in a superb location, situated in a quiet "cul de sac" type row within 3 minutes walking distance of the 1st tee, clubhouse and resort centre.

The Costa Calida/Murcia region
The Costa Calida is situated in the southeast of Spain. To the north lies the Costa Blanca and to the south lies the Costa de Almeria. Translating as the "Warm Coast" Costa Calida forms the coastline of the Murcia region. Well known for its mild climate, it enjoys sunshine for in excess of 320 days per year, more than any other in region in Spain. The sun is at its hottest during the summer months, with temperatures rarely falling below 30°C (86°F). Winters are typically very mild with averages hovering around 18°C (64°F).
The Costa Calida/Murcia area is reputed to have one of the most pleasant climates in the world - according to the World Health Organisation. There are so many reasons for coming to this area and many people who come as holiday makers eventually return to live here.
The Murcia region is one of Spain's & Europe's best kept secrets. An unspoilt area with 250km of beaches along the shores of 2 seas: the Mediterranean and the Mar Menor.
The MAR MENOR (small sea)
Just 14 minutes from El Valle, the Mar Menor is a 130 square km inland lagoon which is contained by a narrow strip of land which separates it from the Mediterranean Sea. I'ts warm, shallow water and soft sandy beaches with numerous children’s play areas on the sand, make it an ideal place for all the family.
This setting has everything you need for water sports: great weather, a constant breeze, calm and shallow waters (less than seven metres at the deepest point)... there is no wonder it is considered one of Europe's best sailing destinations. Water sports enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice with sailing, canoeing, swimming, waterskiing, jet-skiing, fly-surfing, windsurfing and every other type of nautical activity you can imagine.
Long level promenades with beach side cafes & bars run along side the beaches from San Pedro del Pintar to Santiago del la Ribera.
SHOPPING
There is an open air market, throughout the year, every Sunday at Cabo de Palos, where you can buy luxury leather goods at ridiculous prices and ‘Rolex’ watches for a few Euros.
For serious shopping, the cities of Murcia & Cartegena both offer excellent shopping facilities including the largest department stores in Spain, El Court Ingles, – not to be missed
Cosmopolitan Murcia in particular is a must see, with its large department stores and shopping centres, with the leading brands in fashion. This thriving city boasts cinemas, theatres museums, concerts, art galleries & exhibitions, the casino of Murcia not to mention its many bars and restaurants where you can try Murcia's fabulous cuisine.
The region has numerous shopping centres, the two main ones being Nueva Condominia & Dos Mares.
Nueva Condomina shopping mall can be found just past the city of Murcia and is just a 20 minute drive away from El Valle. This new shopping mall complex with some 200 shops, includes many U.K high street chains that you will be familiar with. It also provides a huge range of restaurants, 10 pin bowling and 6 screen cinema.
Dos Mares shopping mall is also just a 20 minute drive away in San Javier. Here, aswell as its many shops, you can also find a cinema , 10 Pin Bowling and food hall.
FAMILY ATTRACTIONS
The New Water park (Terra Aqua Murcia) and Animal park (Terra Natura Murcia) is situated near Murcia City & Nueva Condominia shopping centre and is just a 15 minute drive from El Valle.
A great family day out, the park, which is part of the zoo Terra Natura, is 30,000m2 and is split into three different areas
One with slides (10 slides which includes the Kamikaze ride)
The "lazy river" where you can relax and let the water take you along. This area includes a solarium where you can rent sunbeds.

Real Murcia, are playing in the Spanish Premier League for the 2007/2008 season. They have a new purpose built stadium just to the north of the city next door to Nueva Condominia. Catch a game, it could be the week Barcelona or Real Madrid are visiting!

THE COURSE AT EL VALLE
Arguably the finest desert links course in all of Europe, this superb 18 hole par 71 Jack Nicklaus designed golf course is fast becoming "the" must play course in southern Spain and attracts golfers from all over the world who continue to give rave reviews.
Situated in a beautiful natural desert valley, It is routed in a "core" format that groups several holes together whilst keeping the surrounding development on the perimeter. This means many holes border other holes and not houses creating a more open and natural golfing experience.
