The Costa Calida/Murcia region
Murcia, known as the "warm coast" is one of the regions with the sunniest days per year with an average temperature of 25 degrees C. With 250km of shoreline along 2 seas - the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean.
Beaches such as Santiago de la Ribera and Los Alcazares are some 15 minutes drive from El Valle and boast superb sandy beaches, bars, restaurants, excellent night life and for those enthusiasts, jet skiing and kite surfing can be booked on the beach at Los Alcazares.
Murcia city with it's historic cathedral (1388) is only 10-15 minutes drive from El Valle Golf Resort. Recently opened is Nuevo Condominia shopping mall with some 200 shops,50 restaurants, bowling alley and 6 screen cinema is an absolute must for the ardent shoppers.
For the children why not have a fun day out at the Terra Natura animal park and Aqua Park all situated approximately 15 minutes drive from El Valle Golf Resort in Murcia.
El Valle Golf Resort area
The 6,145m par 71 golf course at El Valle Golf Resort is located in a beautiful desert valley and is a very challenging course.
The design of the course presents the player with numerous short game options around the greens. The course rewards innovative and bold shots. El Valle Golf Resort includes groups of subtly shaped bunkers that sink into the desert landscape of holes surrounded by natural rocks. Two lakes that flow into brooks and cascades will provide the perfect touch to make El Valle Golf Resort a unique stop among the golf courses designed by Jack Nicklaus.
Soon to be added to the resort is a 5 star luxury hotel and town centre which will include supermarket, bars and restaurants where there will be weekly activities such as face painting and bouncy castles to entertain the children. For the adults there is evening entertainment in the club house or one of the many bars.
How to get there
El Valle Golf Resort is located on the C3319 between los Alcazares and Murcia(San Javier airport) and can be reached by car within 15 minutes drive from Murcia airport. Budget airlines flying to this destination are:Easyjet,Ryan air,Jet 2,Flyglobespan,Flybe but to name a few.
Alernatively, you can also fly to Alicante airport, El Valle is approximately 60 minutes drive to El Valle Golf Resort.
La Torre, Mar Menor and Mosa Trajectum Golf Resorts are also within 5,10 and 15 minutes drive from El Valle. The beautiful city of Murcia is approximately 12 kms from El Valle.
Car hire companies are situated in both San Javier airport and Alicante airport. Polaris world also offers a car hire service with delivery to your villa.
