About the home

This is a modern comfortable house with barbecue, in a street just near a beach. The nearby small village houses a marina and maintains its essentially spanish ambience.

10 mins drive from large hypermarket. The area contains three world class golf courses and is an hours drive from spectacular Seville. It is also about 45 mins drive from the famous Donana National Park where trips can be taken in 4-wheel drive buses.

Facilities

Further details indoors:
Due to its design the house is cool in summer with marble floors throughout. It is spacious with a small flower garden at front and a small yard at side for clothes drying etc.
It is only 120 paces from the front garden gate to the beach . There is a small playground on the beach

Further details outdoors:
The garden is really well looked after by kind neighbours . Jasmine , honesuckle and Dama da noche evocative freagrance permeaes the garden from early spring till late Autumn . In season you can use grapes lemons and various herbs growing in the graden .There are five differnent colours of hibiscus in flower all year . Newly painted.
Bike Hire El Portil and good cycle paths either direction .

Conditions

No smoking inside.
No bedrooms downstairs so not really suitable for wheelchair clients.
Only the agreed number of clients staying please.

Life on the spit mid-June

The Costa de la Luz region

This is the "hidden" Costa of Spain. It has not been spoiled by innumerable high-rise developments and maintains it's essentially Spanish feel. It is a location the Spanish themselves enjoy holidaying in.

Apart from the excellent golf courses there is a strong sailing tradition, windurfing just down the coast, the extraordinary Donana National Park, the Christopher Columbus Centre (45 mins), horse riding, forest track cycling etc. The weather is excellent with breezes off the Atlantic keeping any excessive heat at bay.

The El Rompido area

The nearby fishing village has a number of beach front restaurants which specialize in the local fish. It has a police station, a small church, couple of small supermarkets, DVD rental.

The nearby town of Cartya (10 mins) has a large Carrefour hypermarket. Huelva is a larger town some 45 mins away with shopping malls etc. Three excellent golf courses nearby.
