The Tenerife region
Tenerife is the largest of the Canary Islands.Much of Tenerife's success is attributed to the wonderful climate having more than 3000 hours of sunshine each year and an average annual temperature of 22 degrees.
The Coast of Granadilla, San Miguel and Arona especially attracts water sports enthusiasts, especially El Medano. Whether you have visited Tenerife before or not there are plenty of places to visit and explore either by car, foot or bike. Our house (located in El Medano) is in the perfect base to explore the Island. Volcanic landscape and lush vegetation make Tenerife a special attraction. It is therefore an excellent choice, either for a main summer villa and apartment holiday, for a short winter break, or even a longer stay when European temperatures are at their lowest.
El Medano / Granadilla area
The town of El Medano is a ten minute car journey from TFS airport. It is a friendly, family orientated village which boasts many many bars and restaurants.
There are numerous activities such as water sports (wind-surfing and kite-surfing), biking, hiking, golfing (Golf del Sur boast one with PGA reputation and is only 6 km away) or if you wish just relaxing in the warm sun!
The beach in El Medano is renowned for being the longest in Tenerife. The water is very shallow and ideal for small children, the town itself is very family orientated.

This newly built 3 double bedroom, 2 bathroom, downstairs W.C. privately owned (never been let before) holiday home is directly in front of the Atlantic Ocean, with panoramic views of Red Mountain and La Gomera. It is located within a secure complex, very child friendly and secure, with communal areas including large swimming pool. It is beautifully furnished with a ‘home from home’ feel, with modern fixtures, fittings and furnishings and the main 5 U.K. television channels. The house has marble floors throughout. Other ‘home from home’ items include washing machine, Iron, Ironing board, hair dryer and towels.
Kitchen – Fully fitted modern kitchen with built in oven and electric hob. Large fridge / freezer with family breakfast bar and stools. The kitchen has an intercom to the electric gate, allowing the tenant to vet any callers.
Dining Area – Large dining table which seats six.
Lounge – Consists of large family dark brown leather corner suite, complimentary mango wood furniture, flat screen television, DVD player, and all the 5 UK television channels. Ambiance lighting to ‘set the mood’ including large free standing modern lamps. There is also a Play station 2 for entertainment, along with a collection of 100 plus DVD’s. The lounge opens out onto the large terrace / patio area.

Outside
Outhouse – This contains the Hotpoint washing machine, fishing rods, snorkels, paddling pool, barbeque, buckets and spades etc; all contents are there for use at your disposal.
Terrace /.Patio area – Complete with sun beds, dining area and chairs. This is overlooking the sea and the large communal swimming pool. With outside lighting and sheltered dining area for those long sunny days!
Upstairs – via marble staircase -
Bedroom One – Large double bedroom consisting of double bed with en-suite including Bath, W.C. and shower facilities. The Bedroom has a balcony with seating area over-looking the Atlantic with Panoramic views of red mountain and La Gomera. The bedroom also consists of walk in wardrobe, matching bedside tables and large chest of drawers. There is also a flat screen television and DVD player.
Bedroom Two – Double bedroom with double bed with views of Mount Tiede.
Bedroom Three – Double Bedroom with double bed, separate balcony area views of Mount Tiede.
Family Bathroom – Consists of Bath, W.C. and shower facilities.
