About the home

This beautiful semi-detached villa is situated in a small private complex on the coast of El Medano. Fully furnished throughout in local Canarian Style:the spacious lounge/dining room is complete with 2 fans, TV & CD player and DVD player.

Within a few minutes walk from the villa there is a fabulous beach. The villa is 25 minutes walk (2 min drive) from the town centre offering a variety of restaurants, bars, shops, friendly white beaches and amenities (such as taxis /public transport).

From the lounge area you have direct access to the furnished patio and garden/ barbecue. The patio overlooks the sea& lovely communal swimming pool;complete with sun loungers and shower. The fully fitted kitchen includes oven, hob, fridge, microwave & washing machine.

The first floor comprises of 2 bedrooms (1 master, 1twin), both with en suite bathrooms (toilet, shower, washing facilities). The master bedroom has a balcony which enjoys panoramic sea views. Outside there is a parking space.

The rent for the week is £425 and you will have to pay a deposit of £100 to secure your booking and the balance to be paid four weeks before your departure. special rental rates apply for a long term bookings.

The Tenerife region

Tenerife is a place that has sunshine all the year round. Canary Islands consists of 7 major islands of which Tenerife is the largest. The Island has volcanic origins which has resulted in an extremely dramatic landscape. Whilst it is only a 4 hrs flight from UK, the all year climate makes it highly attractive.

There is a gigantic natural crater called Las Canadas Del Teide which is 29kms across and has officially been declared a National Park.

The El Medano area

El Medano is a coastal resort in the sunny south of Tenerife.It has large flat white sandy beaches on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean and is famous for wind-surfing. The town is a relaxed, multicultural town with bars, restaurants and shops. The local people are very friendly and helpful. El Medanois not exploited (no hooligans or street touts pestering all the time) as the bigger resorts (Las Americas or Los Cristianos).

El Medano is located about 10 mins drive from the airport, and 20 mins from the busy resorts of Playa De Las Americas and Los Cristianos with easy access to all major roads, motorways and links to local attractions and beauty spots. Villa 6, Las Dunas is found on the main coast road, just passed the Hotel Atlantic Playa.

A few minutes walk from the villa is a small cove with its own sheltered beach. The surrounding area is mainly villas and in general a very peaceful place, yet only 5 mins drive from the main truck roads. It is highly recommended that you hire a car.
