This property does exactly what it says on the tin. The owners could not have been more helpful and every query/request was met with a cheerful response.
We used it as a B&B before catching a flight home and it met our needs perfectly.
As I was driving I could not take advantage of the complementary bottle of wine - perhaps next time!

"A real find in El Medano!"
We were so delighted to have found this gem in El Medano. Our stay, albeit only 3 nights, was made even more perfect by the fact that we were upgraded to a villa on arrival - complete with hammock and spiral staircase!
Jill and Nigel are such lovely hosts who just couldn't do enough to make our stay a pleasant one, without being intrusive.
As a mature couple who love to walk, we found the 15-20 minute stroll into El Medano very pleasant, however we also found the taxi rank too tempting an alternative for the trip home......worth the 7 euros back to Villa.
During the day at the beach our favourite restaurant was the 'Calima' - they do a mean 'Club Sandwich' which will set you up for the whole day. The service was a little slow so don't plan to eat in a hurry - just relax and enjoy the view of the beach while you watch the world go by.......
Just have to mention a few of the restaurants we found in El Medano most of which I believe are rated in the top five on Tripadvisor - the "Caballo Blanco" (White Horse) was superb! Great service and good value. We were glad we booked to get a good table by the window.
On our first night we couldn't face walking the full distance into El Medano, so we stopped off at a restaurant half way, beside the supermarket, attached to the Hotel Arenas del Mar. It was an excellent meal and I should recommend highly the 'gambas' (prawns in garlic) which were the best I've tasted in a long time.
On our last night we ate at an Italian family owned restaurant on our last night located to the right of the square (just can't recall the name) where we were treated to the most wonderful Spaghetti Carbonara, my favourite meal! The waiter was very knowledgeable and spoke both English and Spanish.
If your stay includes a Saturday, the market in El Medano is worth a visit - will cost less than the 99 cent shop in Los Cristianos or San Isidro if you haggle.
We would definitely return!
