About the home

Situated on the outskirts of El Medano, the villa is in a quiet residential area suitable for families with young children. The large patio doors from the lounge open onto the terrace and swimming pool area were there are sunbeds to bathe the days away, and a barbecue to enjoy a bit of outdoor cooking. This property will accommodate 7 people including the baby, we are very child friendly with safety gates throughout ,high chair, cot, play mat, inflatables for the pool for a bit of family fun.

The villa is only a few metres from the nearest beach and is only a 15 minute stroll down the sea front to the town or 5 minutes by car, taxis /public transport are available.

Linen and Towels are available but we ask you to provide your own beach towels.

Smoking is allowed at this property but outside.

We have a private swimming pool of 7.5m x 3.5m which is fully heated and sun beds where you can relax and soak up the sun from morning until night.

The BBQ is charcoal and easy to use. The dining terrace has a table and chairs that will accommodate 6 people with plenty of space. Parking is directly outside the property.

We do have a baby sitting service at an additional charge.

PLEASE NOTE!! that the owners of the villa live in the Lower Basement apartment and are on hand if the need arises. This will not have any detrimental affect what so ever on the privacy of your stay.

Conditions

This villa has a minimum booking charge of 1 week
A non-refundable deposit will be required for every booking.
A holding fee of £50 is required on arrival and will be returned on departure subject to any breakages or damages .
The balance to be paid in full 7 days prior to arrival.
Any bookings made within 4 weeks prior to arrival must be paid in full.
STRICTLY NO YOUNG GROUP BOOKINGS ALL MALE OR ALL FEMALE.

The Tenerife region

The island of Tenerife is the largest of the Canary archipelago. Mount Teide effectively splits the island in two. There is a gigantic, natural crater called Las Canadas del Teide, which is about 29km across and has officially been declared a National Park.

It lies over 2,000 metres above sea level. North of the crater stands El Pico del Teide, a 3,718metre high mountain, which is the highest point in Spain. This will be the first sight you will see when flying into the island. It is snow covered in the winter and marks the island with its unique silhouette.

The North of the island is more tropical, has a cooler climate and is where the many banana plantations can be found. The South, by contrast, is hotter and dryer with a desert type landscape. Tourists favour the South for the 'all year' sunshine.

The El Medano / Ensenada Pelada area

El Medano is a friendly village which boasts many many bars and restaurants, many on the sea front, or around the village square.

The Town is very Friendly , with a welcoming 'Relaxed' Atmosphere.
The natural beaches of El Medano boast 'Blue Flag' reputation and are particularly suitable for Families and Sun-Worshippers alike!

You can climb Red Mountain or you can simply stroll the Promenade and enjoy the Stunning Views!

There are numerous Bars and Restaurants, Supermarkets, Chemists, Speciality Shops, Boutiques and a local Market every Saturday in the Main Square that is worth a visit!

The beach in El Medano is renowned for being the longest in Tenerife. The water is very shallow and ideal for small children.

El Medano is typically spanish and quite unlike some of the resorts you would normally associate with Tenerife.
For the sporty people Windsurfing,Kite surfing are the norm here,
and for you golfers the Golf Del Sur course is only 15 Min's away.
