Home description

White Dove Lodge 2 has one bedroom with two single beds. The lounge is spacious and the double sofa converts into a comfortable bed for an additional guest. There is a shower room and the kitchen is fully equipped.
This Villa has a large tiled sun terrace with seating area and commands stunning views of the mountains and views of El Medano Beach.
There is an additional adjacent BBQ and seating area that looks down over the valley toward the coastline and is great for those 'Al Fresco' dining evenings.

The Tenerife region

White Dove Lodge is a literal translation of Palomas where this villa is situated. It is set in the southern foothills of Tenerife but is still only a 15 minute drive from Tenerife South Airport. (it is not in the flightpath). Las Palomas is approximately 400m above sea level, set within the hamlet of El Salto and is purported to be one of the oldest hamlets on the Island. The stunning scenery of the mountains to the north and the beautiful blue flag beaches of El Medano make this area very unique. Although set in a very quiet, rural location the local bustling town of San Isidro has everything you should require. It is considered an excellent Shopping Centre with many bars and restaurants.


El Medano / Granadilla area

El Medano and Playa El Medano is only a 15 minute drive from White Dove Lodge. The beaches have been given the 'blue flag' for cleanliness and is well deserved. There are many aspects to this seafront town, not only for safe swimming but also for many other activities such as Windsurfing, water skiing, para-sailing etc. There are many fine Bars and Restaurants that are located along the seafront and all enjoy stunning views of Montana Roja (Red Mountain).
Granadilla, approx 1 mile to the north has several good Bars and Restaurants. Notably many of the buildings display their own unique history and Canarian Architecture. Whatever you require from your holiday, this area of Tenerife has almost everything you require, including the much sought after, peace and quiet!


How to get there

Fly from any UK airport to Tenerife South, where there are ample car rental companies or rent a car direct on the Internet. Then you have a 20 minute drive to your holiday accommodation which is set nestled into the hills.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a good supply of glassware, crockery and cutlery. The decor has been lovingly restored and looks typically Canarian with some terrific features. All rooms have ceramic tiled floors to retain the coolness and cleanliness of the villa.

There is an additional, specious seating area adjacent to White Dove Lodge fully equipped with traditional BBQ for those 'Al Fresco' dining evenings. This area has been fully restored with some unique mosaic tiling and has superb views.
