This 5 bedroom villa has been built to a good standard and is set within the heart of a rural Canarian village called El Salto.
The Villa is entirely south facing, which means that the large private heated swimming pool, gardens and upstairs sun terrace, all command splendid panoramic views toward the coastline of El Medano and Montana Roja.
There are 'open-plan' lounging areas with a separate entertainments room. The Barbecue is situated on the patio area outside, but near the kitchen. There is ample private parking in the driveway of this property with external lighting. Privacy and security to this property is afforded by an electric gate. The Villa is situated at the end of a cul-de-sac in the heart of a small Spanish rural village. There is a local mini-market, local bar and the excellent 'San Jose' restaurant. A car is essential to enjoy this part of Tenerife.

The Villa has five large bedrooms all with fully fitted wardrobes and side cabinets. There is one master king-size bedroom with en-suite bathroom and patio doors that lead out onto the upstairs sun terrace. Then two further king-size bedrooms and two twin bedded rooms. Also upstairs are two fully equipped bathrooms with integral showers units.
Downstairs, there is an additional shower room with WC.
This Villa is open-plan downstairs with a large fully equipped kitchen.
There is a dining area seating 6 and a separate television room.

The El Medano / Granadilla area
The beach resort of El Medano is just a short drive away (9km). A paradise for windsurfers and those looking to avoid the more commercial resorts. El Medano has a beautiful 'blue flag' beach just off the town square where you will also find many bars and restaurants with Canarian and International cuisine. Further along this coast-line are the well-know resorts of Los Cristianos and Playa de Las Americas with their sandy beaches and bustling night-life.
The South Of Tenerife is an excellent base for golfers, with a choice of 6 different golf courses. It is also ideal for exploring the entire Island due to its' easy access to the motorway links. This particular area of Granadilla is well known to wind and kite surfers and a favourite for families who enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and the beautiful sandy beaches.

When you view your map of Tenerife, you will find us only a short distance from Tenerife South Airport. We are not in the flight path and approximately 30 minutes journey by car. The village of El Salto is typically Spanish and the local grocery store is only 200 metres from the entrance of the driveway.

We stayed with 6 friends for 5 days in Villa Farola in November 2012. We arrived later than aranged but that wasn't a problem, because the person who gave us the keys lives next the the villa. Very nice person and willing to tell something about the island. There are enough bedrooms and bathrooms for each of us and everything was clean. Also hot water was available, even with all showers active. The swimingpool was big enough for a morning dive. The villa itself was pure rental, no private decoration. I think that made it less cosy. For sleeping, breakfast and a morning dive it was perfect, but nothing more than that. There was a TV/Satalite available but that didn't work, the playstation was okay but the games also didn't work, I think the discs are damaged. The kitchen was well equiped. The barbecue wasn't very clean so we didn't use that. There were a few towles available, we thought that we could use every day new towles but that wasn't possible. Final conclusion: Perefect for short stay if you have a car to leave the villa. No activities in and around the villa available. Response: With regards to the comments made by the 6 lads staying in Villa Farola to be fair it is a family resort and not really suited to a 5day fun break, We have many repeat bookings from families remarking that the property has the WOW factor. There are many adventures to be experienced in the local area but no nightclubs. Regards to TV and games consul not working this is not true and in any event they could have called me as I am only 1 Minute from the Villa ( NO complaints were made during their stay ) I assisted them in organising car rental and taking them to the office to collect the cars. |
