Las Dunas 9 is an extremely pretty semi-detached property with a pink and cream facade, bordered by flowers and plants in a quiet residential estate on the sea front in Ensenada Pelada, El Medano

The top floor is dedicated exclusively to two good sized bedrooms each with built-in-wardrobes, french doors opening out onto a balcony and each with en-suite bathroom. Enjoy a wonderful sunset while relaxing on comfortable reclining chairs from the balcony of the master bedroom which also enjoys panoramic views out over the ocean towards Gran Canaria and the sound of the waves gently breaking onto the beach.

Each bedroom also has the possibility of piped music from the music centre in the lounge

Marble stairs lead downwards towards a cloak-room, lounge and kitchen

The kitchen in Las Dunas 9 is pristine white with granite work surface and comprises fridge/freezer, oven, hob, extractor, micro-wave, toaster etc. The cupboards are well equipped for guests who prefer to eat in.

The rest of the ground floor is dedicated to the lounge/dining area

With patio windows on two walls this is a bright room and is comfortably furnished with digital TV offering a range of difirent language programs including german, french, english, italian, russian etc, (not to forget spanish!) DVD and CD players and WIFI internet access. The CD serves a system of speakers installed in both bedrooms as well as the lounge with controls in each room allowing music to be heard throughout the house if desired

Leading from the lounge there is a large porch and garden, facing the ocean with panoraic views out over the bay towards Gran Canaria, furnished with granite eating area, comfortable reclining chairs and a BBQ. Pool accss is also from the porch

The pool in las Dunas is a large three globe shaped heated pool with roman stairs leading down to the shallow end, stair access to the deeper end. On the solarium around the pool there are sun-loungers and flower beds, making for a wonderful relaxing afternoon in the sun.

There is also underground parking in the villa. In this basement, which has direct access from the house, there is another shower, washing machine and dryer.

Our villa is child friendly with child gates on the stairs and a cot and high chair available on request. We also have a portable protection for the balustrade on the balcony to impede curious children climbing.

The Tenerife region

El Medano is situated on the coast in the south of Tenerife. Tenerife is an ideal holiday location for everybody- there are many golf courses on the island for keen golfers, water sports for the more adventurous (ideal for keeping teenagers entertained!), beaches, excursions throughout the stunning island, inlcluding to volcanic Mounte Teide, and much more! Why not take a ferry trip to the beautiful islands of La Gomera or El Hierro? or the kids there are water parks, the parrot park and of course sand-castles to be made!

El Medano / Ensenada Pelada area

El Medano is a lively village, renowned for wind and kite surfing. We have a central square with many attractions like folk festivals, a market every saturday, open-air cinemas in summer, a children's play area and many small bars and cafés with terraces on the promenade
there are possibilities to hire bikes (with helmets etc), surfing equipment, a guide to go walking, a trip to see the dolphins or a visit to one of the numerous nature parks on the island

Fly to Reina Sofia Airport (Tenerife South). Las Dunas is just 4.5km away. Car hire is advised. Try www.cicar.com or www.autoriesen.com
