About the home

It is a quiet family place on the coast, the first sea line, out of the village, it is a beautiful detached fully refurbished villa that has been recently furnished to a high standard throughout and we have included very stylish and upmarket furniture. The ground floor consists of completly equipped kitchen and a big diner, the comfortable lounge has 2 x 3 seater sofas, large flatscreen television with satellite TV which includes English,Spanish, Italian TV. An hi fi, mp3, dvd surround sound. On the upper level are 3 bedrooms all with blackout curtains, wardrobes, chest of drawers etc. The main bedroom has an en suite bath with bath/shower, large walk in wardrobes. The other 2 have a sea wiev and a terrace. The lower level has a games room with pool table. The private heated pool is surrounded by a terrace with sunbeds and a large pergola for shade.There is also a large BBQ outbuilding with its own toilet and kitchen and the golf putting green in the garden

The Tenerife region

The El Medano / Ensenada Pelada area

El Medano is a quiet fishing village at the south Tenerife, in the middle off two mountains, on the right Montaña Roja, on the left Montaña Pelada. Casa Aguilas is next to a pretty small sandy beach at its base, not known by many people. El Medano has all kind of services, shops and a line of restaurants along the paseo peatonal with sea terraces. El Medano is situated near the main road, next to golf fields and it is easy to reach any attraction that island offers. Windsurfing is the predominant sport in El Medano, as a matter of fact the world championship take place on Cabezo beach. The other beaches are much more protected from the wind. The village has a very romantic and positive atmosphere

“A Rare Opportunity to Get a Real Taste of Tenerife” If you are looking for English breakfasts and late night discos, El Medano is not for you. It is far from the hustle and bustle of the big resorts. We like to get away with the family and this accomodation suited us well. It is close to the airport and has everything you could need. the BBQ was great and even when it rained (!!!) we could stay entertained with the pool table downstairs. The small beach at the end of the road is a great asset- locals frequent here and the beach is great! The only downside of the villa is close proximity to the airport, so there is airplane noise at night/early am. The upside is it is close for transport. We hired a car and were at the property within an half an hour of landing- including collecting our luggage - it is only 5 minutes drive to the villa. The airport noise wasn't a problem during the day, but it took a bit get of getting used to at night. We got some earplugs, plus a bit of vino, and slept fine! Despite the noise, we didn't want for anything in the villa. The owners were very helpful and even showed us where the grocery store was when we arrived.
