About the home

El Gouna is an exclusive private resort situated on the Red Sea in Egypt. It is a sun lover's paradise and rests on 10 kms of scenic beach front with the eastern desert mountains as a backdrop. It is just a few minutes walk to the Marinas many bars and restaurants.

This is one of two identical properties we own which are a couple of townhouses apart the other being property number 92081. Staying at the property you have easy access to the golf course which is perfect for all levels, from learners to advanced golfers. El Gouna is also a fantastic destination for divers, with the Red Sea providing a beautiful range of reefs, fish and wrecks. You can learn to dive in one of the resort's heated pools and then make the most of all that the Red Sea has to offer. Since El Gouna is in a relatively protected area it is all the better to watch marine life and swim alongside dolphins and exotic fish.

The Camel and horse riding stables is 3 mins walk and go karting 4 mins walk. The town centre is also 5 mins walk.

The Red Sea Riviera/Sinai region

El Gouna is the Red Sea's Premier resort. It is a complete year round holiday destination with something for everyone.

The climate is a very pleasant 23 centigrade in the winter and reaches 35 centigrade in the Summer and has all year round sunshine with no rain, a refreshing sea breeze and very low humidity.

Some excellent excursions include: desert safaris at sunset to Bedouin villages and to star gaze; to visit Luxor and the Valley of the Kings and the Karnak temple, this area can also be seen by hot air balloon : Cairo to visit the Pyramids of Giza and King Tuts museum etc.

The El Gouna / South Marina area

Their are many entertainment events laid on throughout the year in this lively town on the beautiful Red Sea Coast, both on and off the resort. There is something for everyone, with year-round golfing opportunities, water sports and of course lovely sandy beaches to relax on and enjoy the sunshine.

I can organise trips to Cairo and Luxor When 2 persons go to Cairo or Luxor for 1 Day the price is per person 130 Euro, by 3 persons per person 115 Euro and by 4 or more persons per person 100 Euro.
By Luxor inclusive: Karnak temple, Hatschhepsut temple, Valley of kings incl. 3 thombs, Memnon Kolossos, small nile cruise (30 to 45 minutes), Lunch, Cola, Sprite, Water in the Minibus and a englisch speaking Tourguide only for this group.
By Cairo inclusive; Pyramids, Sphinx, Egyptian national museum, Khan el Khalili Basar or Old Cairo, Lunch, Cola, Sprite, Water in the Minibus and also an english speaking Tourguide.

You will land at Hurghada International Airport - El Gouna is just 22 kilometers north of Hurghada which is approx 15- 20mins drive. Taxis are a plenty or I can arrange collection and return for around £10 per person.

Airlines that fly to Hughada are Easyjet, British Airways, Egypt air & Thomsons. Airports include Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham and various others .

For those who wish to organize their own transport. Car rental from the airport can be found at www.carrentals.co.uk or www.avis.co.uk . Local transport around El Gouna is a pleasurable experience from the tok toks which cost approx 50p , taxis approx £1.50p or weekly bus pass for £1.50p.
Flight time is a reasonable 5 hours. Well worth it for the weather you will receive as the sun shines everyday.

What a holiday!
You have a wonferful property in a fantastic resort.
It was probably the most relaxing - and safest - family holiday we have ever had.
Your property has plenty of space, is well furnished and the kitchen provided us with everything we needed. The pool is great and kept very fresh and clean.
The resort is full of friendly and helpful people.
I wil be recommending it to everyone I speak to.
