The apartment is situated less than five minutes walk from both the Marina and Downtown area and is very convenient for the Red Sea beaches. Those who enjoy diving wind surfing or kite surfing will find it's situation very handy for them.

Those who want easy access to the restaurants in and around the Marina and Tamr Henna Square will also find it very convenient. The block, together with the gardens and pool are fenced in and very private. The block itself is part of a walled village approached via a single, guarded entrance.

Wifi is available through a dongle which you put credit onto or via a WLAN system costing 40 euro per month.

The apartment consists of two bedrooms, one en suite, two toilet/ shower rooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a lounge/dining area. The balcony overlooks the pool and gardens and has a table and seats to accommodate al fresco dining One bedroom has a Queen sized bed and the other two singles. Loungers are available for sunbathing and there is a shaded lounge area at one end of the pool.

The lounge/dining area has a high, barrel vaulted ceiling. The whole developement is less than one year old and is one of the most sought after areas in El Gouna

The area surrounding the apartment consists of the pool, a shaded lounge area and gardens planted up with shrubs, palms and lawn. The area is enclosed and therefore very quiet and private. The roads throughout the complex are paved with square cobbles. As with all El Gouna developments, the area is low build and low intensity.

The Red Sea and Sinai region

The area is bounded by the Red Sea on one side and a chain of mountains inland which follow the coast down past Cairo to the North and Safaga to the South. The airport is at Hurghada, about 25 km from El Gouna. Hurghada is a regional centre and is expanding very rapidly into a modern town and a high end tourist destination.

Flights by EgyptAir from Hurghada to all major cities in Egypt are very cheap and worth trying. Trips to Cairo, Luxor, Aswan or down the Nile can be arranged. The area is mixed Coptic Christian and Muslim and the people are tolerant and friendly. The oldest Christian monateries still in occupation are to be found in the desert north of the region. Ferries to Sinia sail regularly, the trip taking about 90 minutes.

El Gouna

El Gouna is a modern, high end destination. It boasts many really great restaurants. All diving and water sport activities are available, together with tennis, go - carting, horse or camel riding and a spectacular golf course built along the Red Sea Coast.

The Golf Club and several of the hotels offer spa facilities and a range of health and well being treatments. There are several night clubs and discos scattered around the resort, and there is regular free entertainment ie singers, magicians, belly dancers on various nights throughout the resort. There are also all night beach discos.

"Very clean, fully equipped apartment with access to swimming pool and garden area"

Very clean apartment and very well equipped. I stayed 14 days and needed nothing exept from ant-repellant, but that's normal in Egypt. Comfortable beds, air condition, cooker and all other applia… More

"we have had a lovely time in El Gouna"

We have had a lovely time in El Gouna with our two teenage kids.
The apartment is clean (except for the sand that is comming through the windows and some ants) and inside you have all you need (including washing machine; centrifuge didn't work well buth everything dryed quickly in the sun)
One sunbed was broken and could not be replaced during our stay. The bed in the masterbedroom was horrible...When we left the lady told us that she was missing two towels (?) and she charged 30,00 euro's to replace those two towels which we found rather expensive for Egyptians standards, after some negotiations - for we were quit sure we left all towels in the appartment - she did not return 25,00 euro of our security deposit; so we advise you to count the towels when you arrive in the appartment.
The apartment is ideally situated within El Gouna.

We are pleased that they enjoyedv their holiday The end was marred by the discovery that two beach towels were missing and a sum from the breakage deposit was forfeit. It is always wise to check that towels and lounger cushions are brought baack to the apartment as they can, if left by the pool, go walkabout

"Absolutely wonderful - can't wait to go back!"

My husband and I stayed here with our young son and absolutely loved it - we did NOT want to leave! This place had everything we needed, wonderful location, absolutely perfect. We were already planning our next trip back before we even left. We highly recommend this property to anyone considering taking holiday in El Gouna :)

"Fantastic Relaxing Holiday"

Great Apartment, complete with everything required to enjoy a relaxing stay. Secure compound with attention to maintainence. Ideally situated to enjoy a short stroll to both Down Town - Windsor in the sun! and the Marine - Cannes, both have a wonderful selection of restaurants and shops, the local supermarkets stock everything you need to enjoy breakfast and a lite lunch on the terrace. You can eat "around the world" in the evening,with just a four/five hour flight you couldn't find a more enjoyable place, sunshine and temps in the mid thirties even at the end of October. The owners could not have been more helpful from the very first contact, shopping was provided for us and the transfers from the airport seamless. We both enjoyed a truly relaxing holiday and would totally recommend

"Great Holiday"

The appartment looks very good like the photo's.

I enjoyed my stay in South Marina, its a very nice, quiet and beautiful place.

I also recommend you the appartment in West Golf, its from the same owner.

I wish a good holiday for the people who go to South Marina, I'm sure you'll enjoy!

"Lovely place and wonderful experience"

This was our second stay in the apartment and again we were without disappointment.

The apartment is both clean and modern, complete with all the amenities for a more than comfortable stay.

The apartment is ideally situated within El Gouna, being just a short distance from the Abu Tig Marina and Downtown.
