About the home

Villa Yolanda is situated in El Gouna surrounded by a salt water lagoon and over looks El Gouna’s 18 hole golf course, 30 minute taxi ride from Hurghada International Airport. Weekly flights are available from London, Manchester, Bristol and many other European capitals.

El Gouna is on Egypt’s Red Sea Rivera and boasts Marina, & Down Town with classy dining, nightlife and shopping with number of aqua sports and Scuba Diving centres.
Getting around El Gouna is fun and easy, El Gouna has it’s own transport network of buses with weekly tickets only LE30 (approx £3.00) per person. Alternatively call for a Tok Tok—Mini Cab which will pick you up from any location and take you anywhere in El Gouna.

Sumptuous spas, beauty salons, hairdresser’s and fitness centres offering a full range of treatments.
El Gouna has it’s own state of the art hospital, international school & university.
Excursions to the sites in Cairo & Luxor can be arranged locally offering day trips or overnight stays.

EL GOUNA: This is a man made resort which has blossomed from the desert into a holiday paradise which can satisfy the needs of holidaymakers looking for activities or a relaxing time in the sun.
With all year round sunshine it is ideal for water sports of which there are many to choose from. With the coral reefs of the Red Sea being the finest around. Scuba Diving rates very highlyt. The PGA Golf course is also a popular reason for visiting El Gouna but the weather, people and atmosphere are top of the list.

The cost of living makes it cheaper to eat out than to cook, so for the wives this is a welcome break from the kitchen,

If you are a history fan and you stay long enough, a trip to Cairo or Luxor is possible. These can be arranged prior your visit or when you arrive.

The El Gouna area

El Gouna. This resort is 20 kms north of Hurghada on the shores of the Red Sea and built on lagoons and is sometimes called the Little Venice. Once inside the main gate the resort has a stunning mixture of villas and apartment with differrent styles and texturese, With the Sienna mountains as it's backdrop.
Sunsets are spectacular.

Water sports are top of the activities list but if you like to dine out then look no further. We have every type and style of food available. Sea food, chinese, indian, morracan, french, italian, greek to name but a few. the cost of food is cheap with excellent quality and service. Restaurants come in all shapes and size to suit all pockets from the modest Tamr Henna in the market square, where a good spagbowl will cost £1.50, to the 5 star sheraton or Stienberger hotels which also not break the bank.

Shows are held in various locations around town, and are FREE!!!

Monday & Thursday nights - live show Tamr Henna market square

or you can dance the nights away in the discos one of which is open air or go to
the Mangroovy beach party held twice aweek.

The Hotels also have shows which for the cost of a drink you can watch and enjoy.

For those adventurous there are safaris in to the desert for starwatching, meeting the Bedoins and see the sunsets.

Flights land at Hurghada International Airport which is 20 kilometers from the resort of El Gouna and transfers can be arranged on your behalf at a cost of approximately £10.00. - £20.00 (Number in party)

Flights are operated by Easyjet, Thomas Cook, Thomsons on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays with various departure points in the U.K. Flight time is a reasonable 5 hours well worth it for the weather you will receive, sunshire everyday.

Car rentals are available but unnecessary as the bus service is cheap and excellent (weekly unlimited ticket within the resort of El Gouna £2.00), tok-tok at 50p per person.
