About the home

Our luxury lagoon front villa with own pool, in the small exclusive resort of El Gouna, is just a few minutes from the Red Sea. Designed in the traditional Egyptian style, with vaulted and domed ceilings, it is attractively furnished and has marble flooring throughout.

The villa comprises three bedrooms, two bathrooms and an additional separate toilet. The lounge has a magnificent domed ceiling, satellite TV, DVD and French doors onto the ground floor sun terrace which overlooks the pool and lagoon. Dining area accommodates eight and there is a fully equipped kitchen. The lounge and bedrooms are air conditioned. There are four sun terraces and a large (9x5m) south-east facing swimming pool.with extensive terracing. a pergola and steps leading down to the lagoon.

It is just a few minutes to the seafront bars and restaurants.

The Red Sea Riviera/Sinai region

El Gouna may not be known to all, but it's an exclusive private resort by the Red Sea, in Egypt. It is a sun lovers paradise and rests between 10 kms of scenic beachfront and the eastern desert mountains.

Although only about five hours flight time from the UK, the weather couldn’t be more different, with timeless blue skies and virtually all year round constant sunny, warm temperatures. This, mixed with cooling sea breezes, makes El Gouna an excellent year round destination.

You can book a myriad of excursions and activities in El Gouna, from excursions to Cairo (430km) or Luxor (300km), by air (El Gouna has it's own local airport), bus or taxi, to desert safaris, boat trips, snorkelling and diving excursions, star watching, beach trips and quad bike expeditions.

El Gouna offers one of the widest ranges of leisure possibilities in the entire Red Sea area, including an 18 hole USPGA championship golf course, eight diving centres, kitesurfing, windsurfing, tennis, snorkelling, go-karting, horseriding, sailing, parasailing, deep sea fishing, beach volleyball, aerobics, pilates, yoga on the beach and weight training.

El Gouna is a fantastic divers’ destination and is ideally positioned for some of the finest diving in the Red Sea. For new divers, heated pools and calm local reefs provide an excellent start to your diving experience. For the more experienced diver, the range of walls, reefs and wrecks are amongst the best in the Red Sea.

The fact that El Gouna is a protected area is a real advantage; sites are much quieter than those of neighbouring Hurghada and Sharm El Sheikh, and as such, interaction with marine life is more common, especially wild dolphins. El Gouna's diving centres offer a complete range of PADI courses; a commitment to quality, safety and the environment is shared by all eight centres, which regularly meet to ensure the highest standards.

There are many beautiful beaches, one of which is Zeytuna Beach, located on its own island surrounded by the Red Sea and equipped with hammocks, volley ball court, snorkelling equipment, sun beds and a bar.

There are two stunning marinas which attract yachts and sailboats from around the world. They impress visitors with their beauty and offer El Gouna's finest restaurants, bars and boutiques.

There is an eclectic array of inviting cuisines and atmospheres. Choose from sophisticated five star dining to marina side bistros. Dine overlooking the vast blue-green horizon of the Red Sea, the golf course greens or the bustling Abu Tig Marina. With over 60 restaurants, there is something to please every age, distinction and palette.

The local airport is Hurghada, just 20 kilometres away. Airfares start from £149 per person.

Taxis are available from Hurghada airport, although this not can be guaranteed on your arrival. We can, however, arrange a return taxi transfer for you.
