The lounge has 2 sofas and a coffee table with an extendable table & chairs in the dining area. There is a selection of DVDs to play on the TV/DVD player and many CDs for the CD/Radio. We now have satellite TV offering a good variety of channels. A selection of books is available for guests use. A safety deposit box is also provided.The double bedroom benefits from a kingsize bed.

The Fuerteventura region
Fuerteventura is the second largest of the Canary Islands and the least developed.
With over 3000 hours of sunshine a year this is the perfect place to enjoy the pale gold caribbean like beaches!
The island is a paradise for the water sports enthusiast, with the wind surfing chapionship held here annualy as well as the world kite flying championship.
The El Cotillo area
El Cotillo is a laid back fishing village and the ideal place to relax and enjoy the sun. The lagoon beaches to the north have beautiful white sand, gently lapped by a blue/tuquoise sea. To the south lies the Playa del Castillo, a haven for surfing, wind-surfing & kite-surfing along its 2km stretch of beach.
I f you enjoy walking, there is a good selection of walks to suit all abilities - we have a couple of excellent guide books in the apartment. There are also bird watching tours available.
There are various restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the apartment to suit all tastes. El Cotillo has a selection of supermarkets for those wishing to self-cater and a good selection of larger ones in Corralejo.

The apartment was perfect for a comfortable, peaceful and relaxing holiday. It was well equipped and nicely furnished. We were greeted upon our arrival in El Cotillo and taken to the apartment and shown around.
We were worried about not having a car, but we managed fine without- the bus system is great to travel across the island, and there is a shuttle bus that can take you to and from the airport.
The roof terrace was perfect for relaxing in the sun and evening meals, as well as for a great view of the sea and sunsets.
The old harbour is practically on the door step, and we ate tapas at several of the restaurants over looking the sea, and were definitely not disappointed! The beautiful white sandy beaches and lagoons are close by and were relatively empty considering we were there during easter holidays.
About half way through the week the shower fixture broke, but we were really impressed as someone came and fitted a whole new part within 20 mins!
All in all we had a perfect holiday and feel very lucky to have found this apartment in El Cotillo. Thoroughly recommended!

Great location for independent travellers who love the quiet life, fantastic beaches, no disco's, just some local Spanish bars with good tapas and cheap prices, several nice places to eat all within walking distance, there is an English bar El Toston run by the very helpful Alan & Gail, an Irish bar and a Scottish bar for those who can't do without food from home!!!! If you are looking for a lively holiday resort this is not the place to be. For peace and quiet you won't find better. Casa Esquina has everything you could possibly need for a great holiday in an ideal location. We have stayed here twice and can't wait to return.
