Faro Vista 2 is ideally situated on the beach and only a few minutes walk to the small fishing village of El Cotillo where you will find numerous restaurants, many overlooking the sea and harbours, and serving locally caught fresh fish.
The property is on 2 levels - a duplex. Upstairs is the master bedroom and one twin bedroom - both with spectacular views to the ocean. There is a separate family bathroom. Downstairs the spacious open plan living area has a fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, a dining area with table and seating for 4 people, and a lounge space with a comfortable sofa, which converts to a sofa bed, and can sleep 1 additional adult or child.
The property has a ground floor patio terrace looking over the pool and lagoon beaches with dining table and chairs for 4 people. The terrace leads directly on to the pool and sunbathing areas.

The large swimming pool which is approximately 250 sq m is ideal for children as it is not too deep. There is an integral jacuzzi and adjacent toilets. For very young children there is a separate shallow pool. There is a life guard at the pool during set daytime hours.
Surrounding the pool is a large sunbathing area with supplied sun loungers and attractive gardens with gates leading directly onto the beach.
BBQ´s are not permitted at this property due to proximity of the pool and sun bathing areas.

For Sunday and late arrivals a shopping service can be requested.

The apartment is strictly non smoking except on the terrace.
A non refundable deposit is required to reserve the apartment.
Arrival time is normally from 3pm, with departures by 10am. However if we can be flexible with times we will do so.
The Fuerteventura region
Fuerteventura is the second largest of the Canary Islands, but is very much less developed than the other large islands. The island is famous for its stunning white sand beaches and very popular with water sport enthusiasts.
The climate is subtropical (temperatures usually range from 18-28C) and has very little rainfall. Its closest neighbour is the coast of West Africa. The sun shines approximately 8 hours a day almost every day of the year and so provides an ideal destination at any time of the year.
As well as the water activities there are lots of other attractions and activities available: walking, hiking, cycling, horse riding, quad biking, fishing, birdwatching. There is a nearby water park, a zoo, museums, golfing and much more.
Certain parts of the island, including El Cotillo, are also very popular with naturists.
The El Cotillo / La Oliva area
El Cotillo is set in the North West of the island of Fuerteventura. Once a sleepy fishing village, it is now moving into the 21st century and with it a certain amount of new developments. However once you are in this apartment or on the patio, the only view is of the ocean and the stunning white sandy beaches.
There is a main supermarket and 2 smaller local stores, 2 banks with cash machines, and a great French Patisserie and bakery. There are various other smaller stores and services in the village. Restaurants are plentiful and most have excellent views over the beach or harbours. The village maintains its Canarian feel and is an ideal location for a truly relaxing stay. Surfing,cycling and walking are all very popular in this region, and equipment can be hired locally.

Direct flights from most major European airports. Flight time 4/5 hours. Most charter airlines fly here, and scheduled flights from UK via Madrid. Budget airlines Ryanair and EasyJet now fly from most parts of the UK and Ireland and Aer Lingus from Dublin.
Cheap car hire is available from the airport and bookable on line from as little as 140 euros per week - check the airport website for the most reliable companies.
There are Ferry ports in Correlejo and Puerto del Rosario.
