This is an excellent, Canarian country villa with a charming, secluded courtyard and a private, gated swimming pool. It is located in the traditional, picturesque village of Lajares and is in walking distance of restaurants, bars and shops. It is a ten minutes drive to the lively resort of Corralejo with its famous, miles of white dune beaches and five minutes to the charming, unspoilt village and beaches of El Cotillo.

This large villa has been comfortably furnished in keeping with its traditional Canarian architecture. It has a feeling of warmth and space throughout, created by high, vaulted wooden ceilings and has thick walls, keeping it cool in summer months. The attractive living room is furnished with leather sofas and has several sets of patio doors leading to the garden and courtyard. The country kitchen is entered through an archway and also has direct access to the courtyard. It has a dining area, a large central island, marble work tops and is very well-equipped.
Villa Estrelicia has three bedrooms in the main house. The spectacular master bedroom has a king size four-poster bed and an en-suite bathroom with a corner Jacuzzi bath and a separate hydro massage shower. There is a bedroom with twin beds and one with a double bed which has a play room off it. This has a Play Station 2, doors to the garden and a double sofa-bed suitable for two children. There is a separate full family shower room. For groups of 7and over (not including infants) guests will have access to the first floor annexe which is reached from the gated driveway and is a first floor flat above the garage. There is a large room with an attractive, pitched, wooden ceiling, a double bed, a free-standing pine wardrobe and an en-suite shower room with toilet. A fridge and kettle are provided for guests’ morning tea and coffee and there is an electric fan and a heater.

This superb villa is set in an extensive private, gated property and has a delightful, secluded, flagstone courtyard which offers privacy and a peaceful setting. It is partially covered by a wooden pergola, has an integral stone bench, a sub-tropical garden and high quality patio dining furniture for six with a parasol. This provides an idyllic setting for long, memorable hours of al fresco relaxation in the warm and sunny Fuerteventura climate.
The solar heated, 8.5x4 metre swimming pool is situated in the front of the property and is accessed by Roman steps. It has an adjacent solar powered, poolside shower and is surrounded by a sunbathing terrace with sunloungers. The swimming pool has the enormous benefit of being in a walled and gated area for the protection of small children.
To the rear of the villa and accessed through the play room there is a shaded garden planted with lemon and olive trees. Here there is a large hammock in which to relax with a good book.

The Fuerteventura region
Fuerteventura is famous for its miles of magnificent, unspoilt and un-crowded beaches, which attract visitors from around the world. Many miles of these white sand beaches, with their stunning rolling dunes, have been declared a natural park and are maintained in pristine condition. The interior of the island, like all the Canary Islands, is volcanic. Charming Canarian villages are dotted across the island and the main tourism is concentrated in only a few resorts.
Fuerteventura, which lies about 100 kilometres from the coast of Africa, has a wonderful, warm climate similar to Mexico and boasts about 3000 hours of sunshine a year. The island has superb conditions for water sports and attracts enthusiasts from all over the world for its excellent windsurfing, surfing, kiting and diving.
The northern resort of Corralejo is the largest and most developed and is within easy reach of some of the most spectacular beaches on the island. Premier Holidays offers a large portfolio of holiday villas in and around Corralejo. The newer resort of Caleta de Fuste is approximately half-way down the island and boasts two world-class, championship golf courses. Most of our holiday villas in Caleta de Fuste are located on, or near the golf courses but these are not just golfing holidays, there are also excellent beaches and other facilities nearby for a superb family holiday.
The El Cotillo / Lajares area
The centre of the delightful, traditional Canarian village of Lajares is a ten minute walk from the villa and offers a couple of restaurants and bars, including exclusive, small hotels. As well restaurants specialising in typical Canarian food, there is also a fantastic Argentine grill, another restaurant specialising in vegetarian cuisine and a pizza parlour.
Lajares is perfect for clients wanting a peaceful holiday but where amenities of a resort and fantastic beaches are only a short drive away. Corralejo is a ten minute drive and is the main resort in the North of Fuerteventura. It has a huge, new water park, a market, and an excellent selection of shops, bars and restaurants. It is also the location of the world famous dune beaches which, as well as being stunning places to bathe, are also very popular with naturists, windsurfers and kitesurfers. The island’s only golf course is a 35 minute drive away in Caleta de Fuste. The transfer time from the airport is approximately 30 minutes.
