With an indoor living space of 64 square metres and an additional 38 square metres in a private walled patio, we have sufficient 'elbow' space for up to 6 adults to enjoy a relaxing holiday. The orientation of the apartment, with the lounge receiving the sun as it rises in the morning and the bedrooms only receiving direct sunshine during the early evening, helps to maintains a constantly comfortable temperature. Each bedroom has it's own door opening onto the patio. A security safe is provided for your peace of mind.

The Fuerteventura region
Fuerteventura is the second largest of the Canary Islands after Tenerife but, unlike it’s three large neighbours, it is still undeveloped as far as tourism is concerned.
The main characteristics of the island are it’s miles and miles of virtually white sand beaches, rugged volcanic terrain and the wind which helps to keep the ambient temperature from becoming unbearable. Fuerteventura's position places it on a similar latitude to Florida and Mexico which, consequently, provides similar weather conditions - but without the hurricanes! The wind helps to maintain a bearable temperature and humidity during the 3,000 hours of sunshine that bathe the island each year producing an average temperature of 22 degrees Celsius.
El Cotillo area
Although El Cotillo is still a relatively small fishing village we have two harbours. The old harbour (el muelle chico) is, as you’d expect, at the heart of the traditional part of the village with the new harbour at the seafront of the newer part of the village. Neither harbour is large by any stretch of the imagination but then neither is the village. The new harbour is from where the local fishermen set sail and land their catches but the old harbour is still important to village life as it is the centre of most village activities such as the fiesta in August.

The apartment is located approx 45 km from Fuerteventura Airport. The taxi fare is typically around 45 euros.

Further details indoors: The kitchen is fully fitted with UK visitors in mind and unlike many other Spanish properties includes a full oven and four ring ceramic hob with extractor fan above.
The main bedroom has a queen size bed and both bedrooms have mirrors, lights and plugs all within easy reach ensuring access for hairdrying etc. The bathroom contains a mirrored cabinet and additional extending mirror which has been positioned to allow for fine grooming.
Linen and towels are both provided for use within the apartment, however we would ask guests to bring their own towels for the beach. Sheets are changed once a week and towels twice.
Further details outdoors: The patio is completely walled and therefore a safe playing space for children. It also offers a relaxing private area in which to enjoy the sun.
Full outdoor drying facility to accommodate a full machine load.
