Modern newly built detached 3 bed 2 bath villa with its own pool. It is one of only 9 luxury detached bungalows overlooking the Mar Menor.Can sleep 6-8 people with master bedroom en-suite, it has a large front terrace for relaxing while enjoying the spectacular panoramic views of the Mar Menor and surrounding mountains. It has a huge solarium for the sun whorshiper.The villa benefits from air conditioning and central heating. The main bathroom has a Jacuzzi bath with shower for soothing those tired limbs after a hard day on the beach or golf course. The 5 star luxuries in the villa include installed radio system in each room, video entry phone, flat screen TV, DVD/CD player, BBQ.centralised air conditioning in all rooms, plus central heating.
The tastily furnished living /dining has 2 large sofas, coffee table, side board, fire place, dining table and chairs. The large kitchen has ample fitted cupboards and worktop space, ceramic hob, microwave, large fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, iron. The utility boasts a washing machine, sink and a water heater.There is plenty clothing space in the fitted wardrobes in 2 of the 3 double bedrooms, The master bedroom which overlooks the sea has a dressing table, king size double bed, lockers, large fitted wardrobe and is en-suite. For your safety and security there is a smoke alarm and 24hour monitored security alarm system.

As the exterior of the villa is tiled throughout , there is ample space around the villa with many area's and balcony's for sun-bathing. You can enjoy a BBQ around the pool or the main balcony while taking in the night time views of the MarMenor and La Manga.There are 2 entrance gates , the video entry small one, and the double gates entry for parking. The very large solarium has sun loungers and a hammock for taking in the beautiful rays.

The Costa Calida region

The safe shallow warm waters of the Mar Menor and its long beach are 3 mins walk away. The area is a golfers paradise with La Serena 5 mis drive, Roda, La Torre, Mar Menor golf only 15minc drive and La Manga, Mosa Trajectum, Hacienda del Alamo 20mins drive away.

The El Carmoli area

El Carmoli is a quiet holiday resort area with a small number of permanent residents, it is not very commercialised. This coupled with the most spectacular views is what attracted me to this area in the first place, its real Spain.with lovely country side, mountains and farmlands ,. Just 10 miutes drive from the beautiful town of los Alcazares with its famous fish restaurants , water sports, good shopping and many festivals.

Also 15 minutes drive away iis the well known La Manga Club with golf courses, sport training facilities and tennis club etc, 5 star hotel, well worth a visit. The ancient maritime city of Cartgena is again only 15 minutes drive away. Cartageba has great shoppingwith all the high street named stores plus El Corte Ingles, a marina with lots of restaurants .

“A perfect place to stay for a quiet family holiday” We chose this villa for a number of reasons. Price, private pool and sea view. It didn't dissapoint and in fact the standard of the villa was beyond our expectations. Everything was well organised, we arrived at Murcia airport (15 mins away) got our rental car from CarJet.com . This company was recommended to us by the owner and it was lucky because the desk at the aiport was not busy, whilst the only other car rental company there had 20 or 30 people in the queue. Once we had the car we called Sue & Jane and told them we were on our way. They were just finishing cleaning when we got to the villa, so we had the chance to ask a few questions about the local area, the washing machine etc... Good to know that the nearest supermarkets and nearest ameneties are in the nearby town Los Alcazares (z pronounced with a th). We were really nicely suprised to find that the villa was modern and very clean. The views were particularly breathtaking and we spent every meal on the verranda looking out over the pool and the Mar Menor. There are notes in the property about the villa and the area. It is a little out of date though, so check information such as market days before you go. Everything is well provided in the villa such as crockery, cooking equipment. bbq etc... but you need to provide washing up liquid and brush, as well as detergent for the washing machine and calgon tablets. Toilet paper for the duration of your stay is supposed to be provided but its only one roll per bathroom - so we bought our own. All bathroom and beach towels are provided, as well as bedding. We rented a cot for our youngest through Sue and Jane which was 30 euros for a week. If you need cleaning during your stay make sure you ask well in advance as I asked a week before and was told that you need to ask "in advance" which I presume a week isn't!? It is really essential that you have a car, and as long as you do there are plenty of towns and villages nearby that are great to visit. Its really not very touristy and El Carmoli itself is very quiet and private which we really loved. This also means that prices are pretty reasonable. There are only two restaurants in El Carmoli (Punta Brava) We didn't venture up, but we were told that the restaurant at the top of the hill is supposed to be the best, as opposed to the one at the bottom! We absolutely loved the villa - as a family with three young children aged 2-6 it was perfect for us and felt very spacious. The pictures on this website don't do it justice at all. There is only one criticism I have, and its not about the villa as that was perfect! but we were asked to pay a "cleaning fee" of 105 euros in cash on our arrival to Sue and Jane who clean/manage the property for the owner. I did argue that it was excessive but I was told this was non negotiable. We not informed of the "cleaning fee" until after we had paid and booked the property - so we were a bit shocked to find our villa cost us 105 euros more than we had budgeted. I presume what you are basically paying for is their management fee as they couldn't have done more than 2 hours cleaning. I do feel this is a little underhand and should be included in the upfront price. I have rented villas all over the world and have never been asked to pay for it to be cleaned after I've gone! Needless to say there were no other excesses for electricity or water that I have had to pay elsewhere and it certainly didn't effect the great holiday we had or our enjoyment of the villa. Response: Thank you so much for your very positive review.It says everything and more than i could say about the villa and the area.You took a lot of time to give your detailed review , so i will explain and address your only critism.As its a self- catering holiday washing powder etc is not provided.But can be included in a welcome pack , if desired. Toilet rolls,washing up liquid are usually there on your arrival but i take on board your comments and will insure this matter is addressed. As for the cleaning charge , this is a standard charge which most renters prefer to pay so you can have more time sun- bathing.Its mentioned on the booking contract and was discussed with you prior to your arrival, but is now on the website page. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.Its not just a few hours to clean the villa . All the outside balconys and large solarium have to be cleaned and washed down. Also washing and ironing the bed linen and towels and preparing the beds and villa to the very high standard (that you refered to)plus the meet and greet ,to answer all your questions is included.Of course a mid holiday clean is available for a slight extra fee. Again i appreciate your positive review and your honest comments.Tim
