The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region
The Costa Blanca is a beautiful region with an average of 320 days of sunshine a year and a climate deemend by the World Health Organisation to be the healthiest in the world. The average temperature is 24°C, making this is fantastic destination for sunbathing on one of the sandy beaches, looking out across the Mediterranean. El Campello and Playa San Juan both boast the European Blue Flag awarded for clean beaches.
El Campello area
El Campello is a traditional Spanish seaside town with a beautiful promenade full of excellent cafes and restaurants overlooking the long sandy beach and small marina. Just a few minutes walk from the sea front you will find the Alicante-Denia Tram line where you can catch a tram to Alicante one way or to one of the seaside towns further up the coast including Benidorm, Altea or Denia. This is an excellent way of viewing the beauty of this coastline and is great value for money. Alicante is a great day out for visiting the many shops and El Corte Ingles department stores and the tram stops very close to these. It is also home to some fantastic restaurants and we will be happy to give some recommendations.
If you go to Benidorm, do not miss the Terra Mitica theme park with some fantastic rides or alternatively visit one of the many Basque-style tapas bars in the old town. (It's not all fish & chips)!
How to get there
Alicante Airport is just 15kms away. Most budget airlines have flights from the UK including Ryanair, Easyjet, Monarch, BMI Baby, Flybe. Also low cost flights to Murcia/San Javier and Valencia, both approximately 1.5 hours drive. All major hire car companies operate from the airport, try www.doyouspain.com for good rates. A taxi would cost approximately 35-40 euros from Alicante airport but we do strongly recommend a hire car.

Conditions
Although we do not allow smoking in the property, it is permitted on the terrace. A refundable breakages deposit of 150 euros is required on arrival. An additional charge of 70 euros for cleaning is payable on arrival. The property does have some stairs to the front door so would not be suitable for people in a wheelchair.
