The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region

Alicante is placed in the east coast of Spain. The Costa Blanca is well known for it´s fantastic climate, it´s beautiful white sand beaches and crystal clear waters. Enjoy miles of sandy coves and palm fringed beaches or the towns and villages that stretch along the coastline with a seemingly endless variety of colourful, markets, shops, restaurants, fishing harbours and marinas.

10 minutes walk from the villa you can find Salesians train station when you can get a train that takes you to Alicante Golf course and Alicante city centre and to the opposite direction to near cities like BENIDORM ( just 35 minutes away) where is placed the exciting Terra Mitica theme park, the superb water park Aqualandia and Mundomar (the sea life centre), or ALTEA, a bohemian white village (just 45 minutes drive or by train).

The El Campello area

With a coast line of 23 km, El Campello offers a varied and attractive coast. At its extreme north there are cliffs and secluded coves with translucent waters. Next to the port and in the old fisherman’s area, the Carrerlamar beach, regenerated with fine golden sand, runs parallel to the pedestrian promenade. This promenade, together with the port walk, form the leisure and entertainment centre. Finally the Muchavista beach extends to the south along more than 3 km before merging into San Juan beach.

El Cortijo villa is located in Muchavista beach in the area of San Juan Beach which is, without any doubt, one of the best beaches on the Costa Blanca.

San Juan beach and Muchavista beach is a long, open beach about 10 kilometres in length and with an average width of 85 meters. With kilometres of beach on the doorstep and a superb year round climate you may want to take some time out to walk, relax and spend some time lounging on the warm sand admiring the Mediterranean.

Boasting beachfront restaurants, bars, cafés and pubs, the San Juan Beach is also known for its selection of any water sport you can imagine!

There is plenty to see and do in the surrounding areas (abundance of night life, dinner shows, bars and restaurants, shopping malls, fishing, diving, water sports...).
