Only 10 minutes' walk from the centre of all Edinburgh's attractions. The New Town is a fantastic area of prestigious Georgian houses once inhabited by the wealthiest people of Edinburgh. The apartment is peaceful, yet so close to the centre. Easy access to amenities, including a local large supermarket and a smaller quality Deli supermarket just opposite the apartment. We also have a smaller studio apt nearby.
Edinburgh is full of Gastronomic delights with 3 Michelin star establishments within easy reach. Locally there are also a wide variety of restaurants.. Chez Pierre (Scottish/French fusion style) just 100m from the apartment. The apartment is within a Typical Edinburgh Georgian town house occupying the whole of the first floor, retaining many architectural features,conrinincing, original fireplace etc - perfect for groups of couples or larger families including grandparents.
The spacious triple windowed lounge offers the opportunity to watch city life in a typical Edinburgh area. To the rear of the property there are pleasant views over gardens.. One double and one family room (one double and one single bed), + double sofa bed in the spacious lounge area. Pleasant walks can be taken through the city or down to the water of leith walkway and the Royal Botanic gardens - there are also many parks close by.
Edinburgh is also a haven for shoppers with exclusive designer shops just a 10-minute walk from the apt.

Bus stop a few metres from the apt which will also take guests to the Old town approx 5/10 mins.- and other areas of Edinburgh .
Pay and display parking is available outside the apt - Free at weekends and after 5.30pm and before 8.30 am. However a car is really not necessary in the centre.

On street parking is available - Free at weekends - midweek all day parking is available beside the Inverleith Hotel where keys are picked up - on-street parking 3.00 per day - Outside apt £1 per hour.

Our apartment is so central that most of the many attractions of the city are within walking distance of this home-from-home.
Within 5 minutes' walk: There are many antique and curio shops, cafes, bars and restaurants + the Playhouse theatre is 10 mins away, also the Omni cinema Centre

Rosslyn Chapel - made famous by the Da Vinci Code
Edinburgh Zoo - over 1000 animals from tiny poison arrow frogs to massive white rhinos. Don't miss the
Royal Yacht Britannia - visit the royal Yacht which is now berthed in Leith
City tours can be booked at the Inverleith Hotel which can be picked up very close to the apt - which will take you to the port of Leith
Over 100 golf courses are within 1/2 hour drive and one close by - a links course only 15 mins drive.
You can also reach the kingdom of Fife and the East Neuk with its pretty fishing villages - approx 20 mins to the Forth Road and rail bridge to take you across the River forth to Fife and beyond to the Highlands.
Day trips to the Highlands and Lochlomand can also be orgainsed with pick up from the Inverleith Hotel.
The famous August International Art and cultural Festival and Fringe together with The Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
The Edinburgh International festival takes place during August, alongside the Military Tattoo on the Castle ramparts - There are also many other festivals at this time. The Jazz Festival, the Book Festival and the Film Festival.
The Hogmanay/New Year Party is the world's most famous celebration of New Year, the Edinburgh Science festival is a springtime journey of discovery in its own right and the Children's Festival - many of the events for the Children's festival are in the Royal Botanic gardens close by www.edinburghfestivals.co.uk.

"Very enjoyable stay, lovely apt, great location"
Great location, all amenities close and Royal Botanic Gardens are 5 mins walk away. Also convenient bus stops at the front door which make access to city centre or further south even easier. Apartment is well-maintained, well-equiped and very quiet with bedrooms overlooking the building backyards.
