Nestled on the ground floor of a traditional Edinburgh terraced tenemental style stone building, overlooking the garden at the rear from the living room and bedroom, this property offers a perfect location to roam the city of Edinburgh and beyond from.
It gets its name from the view from the bedroom, looking out onto the garden, and a squint chimney.
Situated one mile (1.6km) from the national train station and the beginning of the tram line (...ending at the airport), and just round the corner from the airport bus stop, as well as served by plentiful regular buses - travelling by public transport is done with ease. It also has free on-street parking.
Surrounded by traditional stone tenement buildings and quaint mews lanes, and in walking distance from Arthur's Seat, Holyrood Palace, the controversial Scottish Parliament building, and the bottom of the cobbled Royal Mile (with the castle at the top) - Edinburgh beauty is only steps away.
A french patisserie, quality wine merchant, 2 large supermarkets (both delivering to the property), exceptionally good Indian and Thai takeaways, and a number of independent restaurants, cafes and bars satisfy the palate locally.
