The traditional drawing room is of generous proportions and has lovely features including marble fireplaces and beautiful cornicing. Two spacious bedrooms offer zip and link beds which can be arranged as super kings or twins on request. Two fold up beds have been provided for larger parties. A well appointed shower room has been newly installed. The spacious drawing room provides a lovely environment in which to relax.
A Dining/Kitchen overlooking pretty gardens at the rear of the building has been well equipped with a good range of cookware, glass and crockery and provides an oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dish washer and makes a lovely space in which to share a meal. There is a separate laundry cupboard with a washing machine.

The Central Scotland/Edinburgh region
Edinburgh offers a diverse range of activities from the historic Castle and Holyrood Palace on the Royal Mile to the Royal Yacht Britannia which is moored at Leith. The Royal Museum of Scotland in Chambers Street is a favourite with young and old alike and the National Art Gallery at the foot of the Mound has an excellent collection and a number of special exhibitions.
Further afield the Borders, East Lothian, Fife and Perthshire are all within an easy drive or if visitors have no transport of their own Grayline Tours offer day trips as far away as Inverness and St Andrews.
Edinburgh / Edinburgh New Town area
Nelson Street is peacefully situated in the heart of Edinburgh’s Georgian New Town with its cobbled streets, elegant squares and hallmark gardens. The Georgian New Town is listed by the World Heritage Organisation and a stroll round it's elegant streets is to be heartily recommended. Visit the Georgian House in Charlotte Square to see how these houses were originally lived in. The Old Town with Edinburgh Castle at one end and Holyrood Palace at the other end is also a "must see" and is about 15 minutes agreeable walk from the apartment.
