This one bedroom apartment is situated in the exclusive area of the West End of New Town Edinburgh.

The spacious first floor comprises of a double bedroom with en suite. The kitchen area has a gas cooker/ fridge/freezer & dishwasher, and includes a utility area with washing machine & dryer.

The large living room, which overlooks the beautiful private Queen Street Gardens,has a separate dining area. All bedlinen,towels,pillows and duvets are provided.

The apartment is a few minutes from Waverley Station by taxi. Wemyss Place is just off the busy Queen Street, which runs parallel to George Street. The main area of Princes Street is within walking distance.

The Central Scotland/Edinburgh region

Edinburgh is situated between the Pentland Hills and the South Coast of the Firth of Forth and is the capital of Scotland. A recent census put the population at around 450,000 people and growing.

There is evidence of human settlement in Edinburgh dating from 1000 BC - making the city one of the longest continuously inhabited places in Northern Europe.


Edinburgh / Edinburgh New Town area

The apartment is in a very quiet area and yet so close to all amenities and attractions, within easy walking distance such as Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Mile, with Holyrood Palace a short drive away. There are many bars, restaurants, coffee bars and boutiques, several minutes away in Rose Street.


How to get there

A taxi ride takes about 20 minutes and costs approximately £15.

The apartment is a few minutes taxi journey from Waverley Train Station.

By car: The apartment is to the North of the town centre. If you head towards Queen Street (which is a major road) this will bring you approximately 50 yards from the front door, however there are bollards in the road which will not allow you access into Wemyss Place, so you will have to drive around the back of Queen Street to reach the apartments own private parking area

Looking for a place to stay at the last minute? We welcome late bookings and will do our best to accommodate you. All that we ask is if we have to arrange the house keeper to meet you with keys, please advise us of your arrival time and let us know if at any time you are running late. A 20€ charge will be made for this meet and greet service.
