The Edinburgh region
Edinburgh is a wonderful vibrant city with lots to offer the visitor. With Edinburgh Castle, Hollyrood Palace and the medieval jumble of the Old Town separated by Princes Street Gardens from the elegant terraces and crescents of the Georgian New town, it is easy to see why Edinburgh has been designated a World Heritage Site. Host to the famous Edinburgh Festival during the month of August, Edinburgh also has much to offer the culture lover all year round with an outstanding array of galleries, museums, theatres and music venues, whilst others may prefer to sample the outstanding night life and world class restaurants. Shopping ranges from Harvey Nichols and designer boutiques to second hand bookshops and antique shops, or perhaps visitors may enjoy a romantic stroll round the Botanic Gardens or along the Water of Leith down to the waterfront at Leith. All this and more is within a short walk or bus journey from this wonderful apartment and yet its peaceful location belies its city centre setting in one of Europe's top cities.
The apartment is within a Grade A Listed Georgian Terrace in Edinburgh's prestigious New Town, which has been designated a World Heritage Site. In a quiet residential area guests can enjoy the peace and tranquility whilst being within an easy walk of Princes Street in the very heart of the city of Edinburgh and only a couple of minutes walk from the fashionable district of Stockbridge, with its jumble of antique shops and second-hand bookstores, and its vibrant cafe and restaurant atmosphere. There are many local grocery stores, restaurants, pubs and supermarkets within a few minutes walk of the apartment.

"Why have only just discovered this?"
After many stays in average hotels, either without parking or extortionate parking costs, we discovered this wonderful place!
The apartment is spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. This is the first time we have travelled to Edimburgh with our one year old son and it was the ideal way to travel with a toddler as we could still have a meal and a glass of wine while he was comfortably asleep and still in his routine: something which isn't possible in a hotel.
The apartment was walking distance to the city centre with the added bonus of somewhere to park our car.
Jackie was always available to speak to in the booking process but it wasn't necessary while we were there, due up the apartment being so well equipped. We even have free wifi (a nice bonus).
I just wish i'd discovered the apartment sooner!

"Fab bijou apartment in Central Edinburgh with Parking !"
We stayed here for our 5th Wedding Anniversary as we had previously got Married at the Castle and also had our Son Christened there; Edinburgh is a very special place to both ourselves and our family...so this little apartment had a lot to live up to! and I am pleased to say that it did :-)
Jackie was great through out, always available during the booking service and the stay itself. The apartment is in a great location not only for the centre of Edinburgh but also for the fab 'village of Stockbridge', the rooms are large and well decorated, the cupboards were stocked with all the basics (tea, coffee etc.) and even washing powder!! and the parking was an absolute bonus in central Edinburgh.
Would definitely recommend to friends and would hope to be back soon ourselves! :-)

Access is via stone steps, therefore a consideration for anyone with mobility issues, otherwise can't say anything bad at all, real home from home!
Very convenient location, only 10 - 15 min walk up to Princes Street & Old Town, lots of good places to eat & drink close by - need to book well in advance during Festival though. The parking space is a huge bonus in the city, just park up on arrival and don't worry til you leave, no parking restrictions or fiddling about with meters! Very good, clean accommodation, well furnished, loads of space and great facilities. Jackie is very helpful and easy to communicate with - that's why we have been more than once!

"Convenient Edinburgh self-catered apartment"
The location was really great...easy access to get in and out of Edinburgh as well as into the main area of the city. The parking space was a definite upside. The conveniences of Stockbridge were really close so it was easy access to grocery stores, cafes and restaurants, and coffee shops. We really enjoyed the apartment. The only downside, which was quite minimal overall, was the noise of the people upstairs. It sounded like they were stomping around, although I'm sure they were merely walking.
