This refurbished flat is in a perfect location for anyone wanting to really get the best out of Edinburgh.
Located right in the centre, just off the Royal Mile, it is perfect for anyone wanting to see the Festival as most venues are just 5-10 minutes walk away. When not in Festival time there is still plenty to see and do, with museums, shopping and leisure activities (swimming (including commonwealth pool), cinema, gym) right on your doorstep!
Arthur's Seat is just less than a 10 minute walk down the Royal Mile and the castle the same distance but up the hill!
Bus stops are located very near to the flat where you can get to most places - including the Pentlands if you're into walking or downhill biking. With Waverley train station a five minute walk away, so close for your arrival or if you fancy a day out to another local city! A local bike hire shop is just next door.
This first floor flat features two large, spacious, double bedrooms and when sleeping more than 4, one smaller double bedroom. It includes a bathroom with shower and bath and heated towel rail. A roomy lounge with TV, DVD player and stereo and a large kitchen and dining area. There is a large cloakroom with plenty of coat hanging and storage space. Although we are in the centre of town we face onto a courtyard which other families and you can enjoy so we do ask that you respect our neighbours, their privacy and right not to be disturbed by excessive noise or aggressive behaviour. I'm afraid we do not cater for stag or hen parties as this flat is not a party flat.
Check in time is generally around 3:30pm, unless otherwise discussed and check out time is at 10:00am especially during busy periods.
We provide linen and towels, basic cooking supplies will be in the flat (oil, salt and pepper) and if you would like us to get some basics (bread, milk etc) for your arrival please let us know.

The price quoted for 3 persons is for the use of 2 bedrooms,
The price quoted for 4 persons is for the use of 2 bedrooms,
in these 3 instances, if an additional bedroom is required there is a small additional charge of £15.00 per night.

The Lothians region
The Flat is located in Central Edinburgh, just off the Royal Mile in the Old Town. Edinburgh is known for its history and iconic places to visit - visit Edinburgh Castle and enjoy the city's skyline, take a walk up Arthur's seat and see right to the Pentlands, Visit Holyrood Palace; the home of the Queen. Visit Dynamic Earth with the kids, have a look at the new Scottish parliament or go to one of Edinburgh's many museums and Art Gallery's, or enjoy the flowers in the botanic garden, most of which are never more than a 15 minute walk away.
If you fancy something a bit more sporty, you could hire a bike from just next door to the flat and cycle round the city or along the canal, and if you're feeling adventurous bike out to the Pentlands or Corstorphine Hill and go on one of its downhill trails. You could even bike to the seaside and have a picnic!
Buses go from just along the road from the flat to many areas, including the Pentlands( if you don't fancy the cycle). You could catch a bus to Leith (or walk there in about half an hour) and go and visit the Royal Yacht Britannia. Buses also go to nearby beaches and the island of Cramond. You could take a day trip on the train to North Berwick and visit the famous Bass rock or visit Berwick-Upon-Tweed, an hour away, or go the other way and visit Glasgow.
Edinburgh is famous for its Fringe Festival which runs every year throughout August, and this flat is extremely convenient with all the festival has to offer right on the doorstep! With the castle near by it is also ideal for those wishing to see the Military Tattoo too.
There is plenty to see and do in and around Edinburgh and this flat gives you the best jumping off point!

"Beautiful, cozy, spacious, central - the ideal holiday apt"
Thank you Christabel for letting us stay in your beautiful apartment. We were a large group - 7 in total, and each one of us felt comfortable, and loved the cozy and beautiful home you afforded us for 4 days. The apartment is beautifully designed and Chris saved no effort in making us feel welcome with her genuine and friendly disposition. The amenities were also appreciated (GREAT wifi signal, incredibly stocked kitchen, 24/7 hot water and heating, etc). We wholeheartedly recommend this gem of a place to anyone who wants a taste of beautiful Edinburgh in the best and most central location.

"Great flat, location and welcome."
We stayed to be close to the start of the Edinburgh Marathon and the flat's location couldn't have been better.
The owner was very helpful throughout the booking and welcoming process and the flat was perfect for us. Would love to return with time to see more of this beautiful city.
