An ideal location as a base for easy, quick access to all the sights of Edinburgh and the Lothian's. Whether this is for a shopping expedition, sight-seeing, weekend chill-out breaks, festival breaks, nightlife or sporting activities such as cycling, walking or golf, Edinburgh has it all. It is one of the finest cities in the UK.

Situated only a few hundred yards from Ocean Terminal, home of the Royal Yacht Britannia, and indoor shopping complex with 12 screen cinema. The apartment is a few minutes' walk to the extensive choice of bars and restaurants on the Shore, and the water of Leith.

The apartment is ideally suited for a family holiday and business travellers alike. Rental periods are flexible from a few nights to short weekend breaks or longer stays if required.

The apartment is clean and spacious, with two double bedrooms and two bathrooms. It includes a west facing dining area and balcony which both look out to the Firth of Forth and the North Sea, with fantastic views and late evening Edinburgh sunsets.

The apartment is well equipped with a modern kitchen if self-catering is preferred to eating out. It comes complete with all required cooking utensils and crockery / glassware and has a microwave oven and integrated cooker, hob, fridge freezer and dish washer. A washing machine is also provided, along with drying and ironing facilities.

The open plan living and dining room comprises of dining table and leather sofas with Large Screen Digital Freeview TV, DVD / BluRay player / Bose iPod docking station and Play Station 3 with a comprehensive selection of games and DVD Movies.

The apartment comes with its own allocated, secured ground level inside parking space with a lift direct to the apartment level, so no stair climbing is required.

Edinburgh airport is only 9 miles with a direct bus from the bus stop located just outside the apartment. A taxi journey to the airport is around 15-20 minutes and will cost approximately £20. Buses run past the apartment every few minutes to the centre of Edinburgh to Waverley Station and Princess Street, approximately 2 miles away. A single bus fare is £1.50 with a taxi fare to Waverley station costing around £7. The apartment is also accessible with a night bus service direct from the city centre. The Majestic Edinburgh Tour bus also departs from Ocean Terminal and runs right past the apartment.

With its famous sightseeing, fabulous shopping, world renowned galleries and museums, New Year revels, award winning restaurants, other Scottish tourist attractions such as Rosslyn Chapel and world famous golf courses within easy reach and stunning surrounding countryside Edinburgh is the ultimate city break destination. You can also take a bus ride around the city on one of the famous bus tours which will help you get accustomed to the city and find out about its fascinating history.

Edinburgh Zoo is a great place to entertain kids and adults alike and is easily accessible by car and bus. You will also be a short distance for Edinburgh Castle, Arthurs Seat, Princes St and Gardens, Botanical Gardens, the Edinburgh Dungeon, the underground city and the Scottish Parliament and so much more.

Leith is the old port and docks of Edinburgh, steeped in history, and is now a bustling bar and café scene. There are numerous bars and eateries catering for all tastes and international cuisine with each offering something unique. Try cocktails at the Mal Maison on the Shore, contemporary Indian cuisine at Mithas, or just a real ale or whiskey with a mug of meatballs at Teuchters Landing, the converted waiting room of the old Edinburgh to Aberdeen steam liner. Leith also boasts 3 Michelin star restaurants.

Close by is Ocean Terminal, home of Royal Yacht Britannia, designer shopping and food court, gym and 12 screen multiplex cinema. Leith is also the home of the Scottish Executive.

"Great location, beautiful, serene apartment, reasonable price, and a nice and friendly landlord!"

It was a great stay for me and my family for the summer vacation in scotland, this apartment was nearby Royal Britannia Yacht and Ocean terminal shopping centre which itself was a great location to spend some leisurely time in the evening. Lots of restaurents and bars nearby and Royal botannic gardens and all other tourist spots were pretty close by and the Majestic tours bus also stopping nearby so that we didnt have to use car. Apartment looked quiet new and had a an enclosed car park and is in the 3 rd floor. Rooms and facilities were as described and I will say it was better than we imagined. Every thing was classy and well kept and neat, and facilities were robust and there was bread milk, sugar and tea were all provided for a couple of days. Large screen Tv and PS3 was there with a great collection of DVD and even PS3 games including assassin creed 2 and little big planet ( Unfortunately I didnt get enough time to use them though), there was even a Bose iphone dock speaker and in short caters the needs of the members of the family for their different needs. We loved it and Craig was really helpful and friendly, he came and sorted internet when we had a problem with the internet. We recommend this apartment if you plan to stay in Scotland especially as a family, you will love it..
