From the owner

You are welcome to use all the amenities that the house has to offer. All towels, bedding and hair dryers are supplied.

There will be tea, coffee, fresh coffee, biscuits, milk and sugar at the house when you arrive. There are also basic cooking ingredients if you wish to cook anything, oil, herbs, spices etc. Toilet rolls, dishwasher tabs and washing liquid are also provided.

The heating is controlled by the thermostat in the hallway. It is not on a timer so please set the heating to a comfortable temperature.

My neighbours have expressed their concern in the past over the noise level when there have been hen/stag parties. I promised them that I would not allow all female or all male groups to come to the house for a pre-wedding or birthday party. I have found that there is a greater risk of noise when there is a reason to celebrate. I will allow more mature groups if you are coming to Edinburgh to go to the theatre or for a shopping trip, rugby match, sightseeing etc.

One more thing, stiletto heels damage the floor. Can you please not wear them in the house.

This is comfortable terraced villa recently renovated to a high standard. It has a front and rear garden and is situated in a quiet residential area close to shops, restaurants, bars and local amenities.

There are two en-suite toilet/shower rooms and a bathroom with a separate shower. A cot bed and high chair are also available.

The twin room has two single beds that can be joined together to make a king size bed. I will ask you before you arrive if you would like the beds joined together.

The kitchen has a large 6 burner stove, microwave, dishwasher and everything that you will need for preparing meals. The adjoining dining room has a large table that seats 12 people.

The lounge has two comfortable leather sofa beds, a large television which includes netflix, a DVD player with a selection of DVD's for children and adults. Sky T.V. and WiFi are provided.

There is free parking outside. If there are not any parking spaces immediately outside the house parking permits will be provided free of charge in order that you may park in the controlled zone across the street.

Why can't I call Ronnie (the owner) before booking?

You can exchange contact details with the property owner/manager once your booking is confirmed and you’ve paid in full. Paying and communicating only through our platform allows us to ensure that your booking is covered by our Payment Protection policy.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I pay the balance of my holiday?

How can I retract my booking request?

You’ll need to contact Ronnie (the owner) to do this. Send them a message in Manage your holiday booking or through the contact form on this page.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Ronnie (the owner) a message.

If Ronnie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
