This property is a top floor flat with plenty of light and high ceilings, it is situated at the back,
facing common gardens away from the road.
There is free off street parking however it is very well located between Easter Road and Leith Walk
where you have access to numerous buses going in many directions.
It comprises a very good sized kitchen/living room/dining room, bedroom with king size bed
(linen and towels included) bathroom with Mira shower (with Eco setting) and bath,
hot water is always available (combi boiler)

"Excellent, "don't judge a book by it's cover""
Very comfortable, well located, well equipped and well appointed apartment, within easy reach of the castle, holyrood and city centre. It is possible to walk to all of these attractions, but if you don't want to they are just a short drive or bus ride away. Thanks to Lidia for her patience waiting for me to arrive, and for her welcome when I finally got there. Also well done on providing me a home away from home, would certainly stay there again.

"Central, clean, bright and friendly"
The clean and friendly apartment was not far from the city centre with lots of cafés, restaurants, pubs and a big supermarket close by. It is not far to walk to Leith Harbour, ideal if you want to be in the city but also have free parking, which is very difficult to find in Edinburgh.
The apartment was very bright and tastefully decorated with a nice view to the back gardens. It had everything we needed and cosy to get back to after walking around in the city all day. The owner was extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful with tips and advice.
It is located in one of those old sandstone buildings which are typical for Edinburgh in a quiet neighbourhood off the buzzing Leith Walk.

"Fantastic value for money"
Well maintained and aesthetically decorated flat with all necessary provisions. Very good option for long stay (although I stayed for 3 days). 5 to 7 mins walk to "Leith Walk" which is the main street going to city centre and royal mile, it is also close to Tesco and couple of nice restaurants. The apartment owner was very helpful and accommodating (receiving us at 8PM in the evening) and provided guidance / maps for important places around. So overall, a good and positive feeling.

"Clean Apartment, but poor location."
The apartment was clean and tidy and the owner left us plenty of towels and was very hospitable. However, we were shocked when we arrived at the location and the state and smell of the building.
The smell was dirty/smoky/musty and this permiated throughout the entire apartments. Our apartment was clean and a new bed had arrived that morning so we were pleased given the first impressions of the building.
The location isnt great, I asked if it was walking distance before booking and was told it was a 20 min walk, my partner and I are both fit and we walked this at some pace and its a good 30 min walk. I wouldnt walk it at night as its not the safest looking place.
Overall, we didnt stay in the apartment much, we slept and showered and the rest of the time we were out. The owner was nice and she meant well but I wasnt happy with the accomodation or the location.

Leith is a multicultural, diverse and colourful part of Edinburgh.
I have lived in the property since 2004 and as a single woman I have never had issues walking the streets of the area, day or night especially Leith Walk which is a lively part of the city.
My flat is from the early 1900's, accommodation of this period comes full of character with an authentic cobbled road at the front door. This sandstone building and its stairs are one of the nicest in the local area, this is what most of the buildings of this area are like.
In comparison - my flat is excellent value for money.
The walking distance from my apartment to Elm Row/John Lewis/Omni centre which are centrally located is 20 minutes. Furthermore the full address was provided before arrival so guests are fully informed and aware before coming where they are going to stay and they are welcome to google distances and places of interests.
I am always keen for my guests to have a nice time in Edinburgh and feel they are getting value for money, this review saddens me as I corresponded a lot with this guest and helped giving out lots of information to plan a special weekend
