Edinburgh is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe and makes an ideal choice for a city break, a longer holiday or a base to explore Scotland. Inverleith is a quiet area that is only a hop, skip and jump from the main city centre allowing travelers to recover and gather themselves whilst taking in the view from the window of the city from Arthur's seat to the castle. Its a leafy area with good quality restaurants and bars. A short walk past or through the Botanical Gardens will take you to Stockbridge area for some alternative shopping and dining to Edinburgh centre. Small artisan shops and food stores will tempt you.

A short car ride away will take you to the dock area of Leith that has many restaurants and bars including a Michelin star restaurant.
