The Lothians region

Beautiful and historic Edinburgh is full of charm and character. Lots to see and do from Visiting the Castle to watching the world famous Military Tattoo. Bars and restaurants are in abundance and the city is awash with spectacular events and shows throughout August with the largest festival in the world - the Fringe.

Edinburgh

New Town is a beautiful, traditional residential area next to the city centre. Its architecture has been preserved through the years and retains much of its heritage.

Being so central, New Town possess access to a range of facilities, boutique shops and eateries, as well as the centre of Edinburgh - just a short walk away.

As it is a residential area, the nights are quiet and calm with just the distant chiming of St. Stephens Church audible through the night sky.

"***Excellent Stay***"

The best place I have ever stayed. It is a fully loaded house with TV, XBox and plenty of interesting books, kitchen items. My family enjoyed a lot staying there. The landlord was very friendly and prompt reply to emails and pay deposit back.
I would definitely recommend to stay there.

"Great stay, really pleased with location"

First time in Edinburgh, stayed for a long weekend and really enjoyed it. Took a taxi from the airport (about £20) right to the apartment door. After that no need for any public transport or taxis all weekend as everything was within walking distance.

The accommodation was light and airy and had everything we needed. The area was calm and quiet which made for a good night's sleep helped by the massive comfortable bed! Good to have the wifi too. The flat is on the top floor up 3 flights of stairs so watch out if you have a buggy or find stairs tricky!

I think it took us about 10 minutes to get to the main city centre on foot but there were bars and restaurants just a couple of minutes' walk away. I particularly liked Eteaket (dinky little basement tea shop with every type of tea imaginable) just a short walk away. There is also a Sainsbury's metro just around the corner which was handy for the bits and bobs needed for the weekend even though we ate out most of the time.

All in all, a really enjoyable weekend. Edinburgh is a beautiful city and the accommodation was just what we hoped for.
