This comfortable and well-equipped self-catering property is located in a residential apartment block in the Abbeyhill area, 1 mile (1.5km) east of Edinburgh's city centre. Ideal for a vacation rental or a short-term let, the building has a lift and also private parking.
Our 1-bedroom apartment is just 10 minutes walk from Holyrood Palace and the foot of the Royal Mile, and 5 minutes by bus from Princes Street. The property has a 4-star grading from VisitScotland (the Scottish Tourist Board).
Several tourist attractions around Holyrood and the Royal Mile are just 10-15 mins walk, while 5 minutes by bus (or 20 minutes walk) brings you to Princes Street with theatre, cinema, bars, restaurants and cafes on the way.
Minimum let is 3 nights, except over New Year when it is 1 week.

The property is cleaned between lets but should be left clean & tidy by departing guests.
• PAY-PHONE:
Use a Post Office phonecard for outgoing calls. Incoming calls operate as normal.
• PETS considered, if well-behaved.
• SINGLE SOFA-BED can be used on request.
This single-size sofa bed is in the living/dining room. (Kitchen is open-plan to living/dining-room and bedroom is accessed from here too.)

• ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
Please arrive after 3pm on the date of arrival and leave before 10am on the date of departure. If this is not suitable tell us when you book, so we can arrange alternative times.
• DIRECTIONS to the property will be sent after the balance is paid. They include directions from the train stations and the airport.
With most bookings we can send a set of KEYS to you before your arrival.
• INTERNET ACCESS
Free wi-fi internet access is available (subject to reasonable use of approximately 1GB per week).

CANCELLATION
• If you cancel your booking, we will try to fill the vacancy.
• But, if a substitute booking cannot be found, the charges set out here might apply.
Notice of cancellation prior to arrival: 60 days or more: no charge (deposit refunded);
30-59 days: 30% charge (deposit retained);
Less than 30 days: full rental price.
• Edinburgh Self-Catering is entitled to cancel a booking if the balance is not paid on time.

Scotland's capital city of Edinburgh is an attractive destination at any time of year. The history, the art, the architecture, the festivals and the scenery - all add up to an amazing experience. Festivals abound - from Christmas and Hogmanay celebrations to festivals of science, jazz, books, films as well as the world-famous Edinburgh International Festival and its even-bigger offshoot the Festival Fringe.
In the city centre the Castle stands high above Princes Street Gardens providing an unforgettable view from the main shopping area around Princes Street and George Street.
THE ARC APARTMENT faces east and has a great view of Edinburgh's highest hill, Arthur's Seat, which is in the centre of Holyrood Park at the bottom of the Royal Mile.
