This spacious and well appointed modern two bedroom apartment is in the Canonmills area of Edinburgh. It is ideally located a short walk of approx 15 minutes through historic Georgian New Town which takes you to the heart of the city centre in Princes St in one direction or to the Playhouse Theatre in the other with many upmarket bars, restaurants, shops and galleries on the way.

It is the perfect base from which to explore the wonderful city of Edinburgh with it's world famous sites and attractions.

The Riverside apartment is situated right on the route of the Water of Leith Walkway which is a beautiful walking path along the river with access to such attractions as the Modern Art Gallery and interesting historic areas of the city for example Stockbridge and Dean Village. The route can be followed to the waterfront in Leith in one direction, or to the city centre in the other.

The apartment has one secure parking space and is only a 5 minute walk from a major branch of Tesco's supermarket. There are children's playgrounds and sports facilities nearby and the quiet, residential area makes it the ideal location for families, those wishing to explore the city or business travellers.

The apartment has a secure entry system and is on the first floor comprising 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and living room which radiate off a spacious entrance hallway.

The living room is well furnished with a variety of seating styles and a drop leaf table which can be used for dining if required. This comfortable and bright room has TV with DVD and Freeview. There is Wi Fi connection available.

The Master bedroom has a king size bed and extensive wardrobe space, a dressing table/desk and an attractive oriental style cupboard. The second bedroom is arranged as a twin room with built in wardrobes and dressing table/desk.

The large airy kitchen is well equipped with a good range of units, a twin oven and ceramic hob, a microwave, fridge freezer, double sink and a washer drier. An extending table can seat up to four people.

The immaculate tiled bathroom has a bath with shower over it and white bathroom suite.

The owner has added many homely touches to ensure guests have a comfortable stay.

A £100 deposit may be payable prior to your stay, this is fully refunded subject to no damage beyond usual wear and tear.

Check in time is from 3pm and check out time is by 11am (unless prior arrangements have been made for an earlier arrival or later departure time).

Edinburgh is the amazing capital of Scotland, an exciting place to visit at any time of year. As well as all the famous historic sites such as Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace, the city is home to National Art Galleries, Museums and the Royal Yacht Britannia. It is a beautiful city for sightseeing with many parks and sights of architectural significane. In addition you can do some serious shopping and also choose from a vast array of excellent Restaurants, Bistros, Wine Bars, Pubs and Cafes with nightlife to suit all tastes.

Throughout August the Edinburgh Festival runs for a full month bringing in international performers and a wide variety of shows and entertainment. Edinburgh is a cultural centre at any time of year - there are festival times for Jazz, Films and other special events.

Cannonmills where Logie Green Road is situated is an ideal location being within walking distance of the city centre but also close to many other interesting areas for example the attractions of the waterfront at Leith. Many places can be reached from the Water of Leith walkway path which follows the riverbank through the city.

Only a 10 minute walk away are the famous Botanic Gardens with with over 70 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds and a stunning array of plants in its Victorian glasshouses. The new visitor centre has a cafe and a top class restaurant.

"Comfortable, stylish flat only a short walk from the heart of downtown Edinburgh"

This two-bedroom flat was perfect for our two night stay in Edinburgh. It is tastefully and interestingly furnished in a modern style. The kitchen is well equipped with appliances. Our host, Janice, was most attentive to our needs and gave us excellent information about Edinburgh. The flat is only a five minute walk to the beautiful botanical gardens and about twenty minutes to the center of Edinburgh city. I highly recommend this flat and definitely plan to stay in it the next time I visit Edinburgh.

"Excellent Apartment. Would love to stay again"

The apartment was spotlessly clean, spacious and beautifully furnished. It was extremely handy for our visit to the playhouse and I would definitely visit again

"very nice apartment in a peaceful, quiet location"

I stayed at this apartment for 3 days with my family and it was very comfortable. The apartment is very well set up with its utilities/amenities. All information regarding everything that could be needed was written in clear form in an instruction book. The owner had also provided information about local sightseeing and restaurants in Edinburgh. We were given a warm welcome by the concierge who also helped with our luggage. The apartment is in a quiet and peaceful location, 10 minute walking distance from a local Tesco store. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.

"Ideal - close to city centre & parking space."

Spotless on arrival & very well kitted out. Also close to supermarket & restaurants as well as Water of Leith. Pity about the hills!

Info re hills .... these are part of Edinburgh's scenery and the relatively gentle climb going into town means that it's downhill coming home:) Almost all of the Water of Leith walkway is flat.

"Excellent accommodation"

Apartment was easy to find, near to city centre. It has onsite parking. Good selection of restaurants close at hand but also only 20 min walk into centre of the city. It was well equipped with everything you need. It was well maintained and very comfortable.

"Excellent apartment. Spacious, well-equipped and nicely decorated."

I was able to walk back and forth to work (in Edinburgh's West End). Didn't take too long. I walked along the Water of Leith walkway a couple of times (as the weather was nice) and the walk is really lovely.

There's a decent size Tesco supermarket nearby, which is very handy. The apartment is very comfortable (especially the double bed!). Located in a peaceful area, which is great considering the proximity to the city centre.

The Water of Leith walkway is a great way to get to other parts of the city - glad that being so close to it was useful for getting to work.
