The Keating apartment is a modern property established in a complex of owned, rented and serviced apartments constructed around 2006 in the Lochend area of Edinburgh. The complex offers ample unrestricted free parking to residents. Almost adjacent to the complex is Lochend Park and Loch offering a relaxing environment with a mixture of local wildlife, and children's play area. Slightly beyond is a local convenience store.

Lochend is a residential area within the capital city, located around 1.5 miles from the city centre and the popular Princes Street. The location is an ideally situated hub to easily access all parts of Edinburgh either by car, on foot or by taking advantage of one of the best bus services in Britain, which for only £3.50 per adult, per day, offers unlimited use of any Lothian Region Bus. Very close by are a number of supermarkets and eateries.

To the west of the apartment, a mere 10 minute bus journey is the city centre of Edinburgh, which offers a vast selection of restaurants, bars, shops and visitor attractions such as the world famous Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Mile, Holyrood Palace and Princes Street.

To the south of the apartment is the now extinct volcano, Arthur Seat, a very popular attraction for walking and taking in spectacular panoramic views of Edinburgh and beyond.

To the north of the apartment, around 5 minutes away, is the historical port of Leith, now popular with water front living and offers yet more choices for dining, socialising, shopping at The Ocean Terminal, or visiting The Royal Yacht Britannia.

And finally, to the east of the apartment, around 10 minutes away is the old town of Portobello, and Portobello beach, offering a seaside town feel.

In addition, the apartment is within walking distance of sporting venues, such as Hibernian Football Stadium, and Meadowbank Stadium. There are also a number of leisure facilities, such as swimming pools and gymnasiums nearby that offer access without membership. Across the town, around 20 minutes by car is the Heart of Midlothian Football ground, Murrayfield rugby stadium, and other activities such as Edinburgh Zoo and Ice skating.

Accommodation

This fourth floor apartment offers the convenience of being set back from the main road, and ensures the occupants are not effected by any traffic noise, normally associated with city centre living. A lift is provided to give easy access from street level to the fourth floor.

The apartment itself is contemporary, but still offers a homely feel and is guaranteed to offer a relaxing atmosphere after a busy day. Views from the large windows in the living-room and kitchen offer stunning views over the historical Port of Leith, surrounding areas, the River Forth and beyond to the Kingdom of Fife.

This is a non smoking apartment, and is not suitable for hen and stag parties. The apartment sleeps up to 4 and is equipped with all modern conveniences, including free Wi-Fi, and is ideal for business, small family and tourist travellers.

There are two bedrooms, the master bedroom, having a double bed, benefits from a well equipped en-suite, the second bedroom has 2 single beds and makes use of the well-appointed family bathroom from the hall. Each bedroom has a hair dryer supplied, and an iron and ironing board is also supplied. The spacious lounge offers large comfortable sofas that guests can relax on whilst watching a large freeview television. The property benefits from a modern kitchen with all appliances and a dining area at the window overlooking Edinburgh. Storage space is also generous for clothing and luggage.

"Excellent"

Very tidy place with plenty of room. Within walking distance to everything. Great hospitality from owners at a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend it
