Review 1-1 of 1

I stayed at the apartment on my own for7 nights and felt extremely safe. Eleanor met me at the apartment to give me the keys, information regarding the apartment and directions to the local supermarket. I was left a welcoming tray with biscuits/milk/tea bags and sugar. I found the apartment warm and comfortable and the sheets and towels of good quality. I slept well every night as the single bed was so comfortable and the nights quiet even though it is a built up area. The apartment was clean and had everything I needed, home from home. Eleanor was friendly/professional and if I had stayed two weeks we would have had a ladies day out! The back garden had small low fences around it and a road directly behind but surprisingly hardly any traffic passed that way. I saw many joggers and people on bikes who smiled as they passed by. At the back of the apartment a few yards down the road is two flights of stairs which leads you into Holyrood park. It continues for miles and miles but if you manage to climb to the top of the hill the views are fantastic! Then if you have any energy left you can walk to Holyrood Palace and see into the grounds and the back of the Palace. The bus service is excellent if you catch a bus by the Sainsbury supermarket as every bus goes to North Bridge, where the tours, shops, restaurants, Waverley Station,100 Airport bus and information centre and much more is within a few minutes walking distance. I found an all day bus ticket at £3.50 much cheaper than paying for a tour as you pay for 3 places of interest but end up only managing to do one. The amount of shops are amazing but lets face it Edinburgh is an amazing city!
