From the Apartment is a 5-10 minute walking distance to Holyrood Palace and Park and the Royal Mile and a 10-15 minute walking distance to Princes Street.

With a 2 minute walking distance is the Meadowbank shopping centre, which offers a great selection of shops including a large Sainsbury's and TK-Maxx . A good selection of small local shops abound. It is also very close to Meadowbank sports stadium.

Direct at the Apartment are excellent Bus connection.

This is light spacious living room, furnished in a contemporary style with a armchair and a double sofa bed, coffee table and bookshelves, there is also a dining table and chairs and the owner has provided TV and DVD player with free view.

There is also a selection of games and puzzles,DVDs, CDs, CD roms, wooden train set and toy box.

The modern fully equipped kitchen provides oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washer dryer.

Double Bedroom:

with a nice comfortable double bed, a large fitted built-in wardrobe and drawer space, armchair and bath with Toilet, wash hand basin and shower cabin.

"Modern, well equipped and secure apartment, five minutes walk from bottom of Royal Mile."

"First class accommodation"

The Abbey Lane apartment is a spacious modern flat on the 4th floor (served by a lift) and with secure garage parking. Two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms means no queues' in a morning! It is close to all the main attractions especially those around the bottom of the Royal Mile and Holyrood Palace with very easy driving access from the South. We travelled 250 miles on the A1 and simply made a right turn on to Abbey Lane! We ere met by Uwe as arranged - very friendly host but we didn't need any help during the visit (although we had his mobile number) as there were no issues arising. Intend staying there again. On this occasion we took our 16 year old granddaughter who was on work experience at the Royal Observatory (even that was only an easy 4 mile drive across the city). She especially appreciated the Wifi. Very comfy beds! We ate out all the time (apart from microwave snacks, breakfast etc. Those intending cooking regularly might need extra pans etc

"Nice comfortable stay with all facilities. Value for money."

The place is appropriately located with small market near by. Transport easily available. The apartment is having all the amenities and well equipped for a family to stay. The furniture though needs a change. Overall value for money.
