This smart 1st floor apartment is part of an attractive, modern development in a good location within a 15 minute walk of the east end of Princes St. The apartment has a secure entry system and is set in well-kept landscaped grounds with the huge benefit of private residents' parking. The interior is peaceful and very well appointed and the freshly decorated rooms have a very pleasant, relaxing atmosphere with attractive furnishings and finishing touches.

Leith Walk offers excellent amenities including coffee houses, pubs, excellent restaurants and shops - take the opportunity to visit the famous Valvona & Crolla deli. Public transport is available day and night and the journey into the city centre is approx. 10 mins. There are numerous recreational facilities and Festival venues in the area - the vibrant Leith Shore and Ocean Terminal complex are only a 10 minute bus ride away, whilst a stroll up Leith Walk leads to the Playhouse Theatre and Omni Centre with cinemas, bars and a nightclub.

There are a number of festivals throughout the year to suit all tastes, including Film, Book, Jazz, Children's, International, Tattoo, and Fringe to name a few. There are many historic sights to visit. You could walk the 'Royal Mile' from Edinburgh Castle at the top to Holyrood Palace at the bottom. Along the way you could visit the Whisky Heritage Centre, the Museum of Childhood, John Knox House (famous reformist), and many more including some nice pubs, cafes, and restaurants.

The Edinburgh / Leith area

The 'New Town' with its beautiful Georgian architecture offers much to the visitor, including The Portrait Gallery, National Gallery, Princes Street Gardens, Scott Monument and the Georgian House on Charlotte Square. For those who enjoy contemporary venues George Street provides many restaurants and bars (The Dome being a 'must see'). Those looking for traditional pubs need look no further than Rose Street (parallel to George Street).

For rugby fans Murrayfield stadium is just a short bus ride away and hosts the 6 nations rugby tournament, american football, premier club rugby and the occasional concert. Even if you are not a rugby fan a six nations weekend is a lively, fun time to be in the city.

For the golfer there are numerous courses in and around Edinburgh, including 6 reasonably priced municipal courses.
