This architecturally listed and spacious 2nd floor traditional Edinburgh apartment is located in the cosmopolitan Bruntsfield. The apartment is warm, comfortable and an ideal location for exploring Edinburgh. Excellent selection of local shops and 15 minute walk to Waitrose supermarket. Tesco Metro shop round the corner. Takeaways, cafes, bistro restaurants, bakers, butcher, fishmonger, off licence, banks, post office.

In 2012, entirely renovated -new carpets and decoration - new kitchen, bathroom with shower, ensuite shower room, gas central heating. The lounge has seating for 8, large bay window, 40" flat screen TV, DVD player, ipod /cd/radio and double sofa bed.

The kitchen has 5 ring gas smeg cooker with large electric oven, microwave, Bosch dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge/freeze, cafetiere and dining table for 8 guests.

North Berwick and the Bass Rock - a small seaside town - 150,000 Gannets and is the largest single rock gannetry in the world Travel by train from Waverely station around 40 minutes. lovely beach to walk along -

Take a train trip to the university town of St Andrews in Fife. Scotland's first university and the third oldest in the English-speaking world, founded in 1413!

Take a round trip to Inverness - leave early morning get a return ticket - have lunch in Inverness and return in the evening. internet search eastcoast trainlines and

Take the train and escape to Pitlochry [Perthshire] for the day and see the salmon leap. Walk up to Moulin for a wonderful lunch.

The 23 and 45 bus service from outside the flat will take you to the National Museum of Scotland, the University of Edinburgh, the Castle and the Royal Mile - a ten minute journey.

The 23 - 11 and 16 bus routes will take you to Princes Street. The 16 will take you to the Playhouse Theatre at the top of Leith Walk and Ocean Terminal shopping and cinema complex.

Locally there is an excellent choice of restaurants within walking distance which don't have city centre prices. 5 minutes from the flat there is an delicious ice cream parlour and also a fish shop which sells Scottish salmon and shellfish. Waitrose supermarket 15 minute walk.
