"Fantastic apartment"

This is the second time we have stayed in this apartment in 6 months (unheard of for us) and this was just as good an experience as the first. Very comfortable, clean and attractive apartment in good, quiet location with parking. Can't be bettered.

"stunning appartment"

Overall it was a lovely modern and a super place to relax as in very quite location but not to far from the hustle and bustle of the city .

"Fantastic flat with all you could wish for!"

We all loved this flat. It was tastefully but comfortably decorated and exceptionally well-equipped for a holiday rental. The bathroom was particularly stylish. Our only criticism is of the cooker hood, which we kept banging our heads on, despite the warnings to be careful! It's a good 35-45 minute walk to the Royal Mile but in a leafy and quiet suburb. Would love to go back.

Thank you for your very honest review. Glad you liked the place

"Fantastic apartment, convenient location and amazing attention to detail to make your stay as stress free as possible"

Four of us visited Edinburgh to enjoy the Fringe Festival. Prior to our arrival, Karen (owner) had sent us comprehensive directions, instructions for the apartment and general information about shopping and travel in the location. The apartment is in a great location - lovely large, stone built Victorian with the Scottish Modern Art Musem immediatley behind. Very quiet. The apartment is luxurious in terms of fittings and fixtures - lovely beds and bed linen, very clean and all in top decorative order. Bathrooms are high quality, the main one being light and bright - modern fittings. The kitchen is also high quality and modern - it made us want to refit our own! There is also a large lounge area with large flat screen TV and facilities to play music. There is also a small, low-ceilinged attic room which I suspect could be OK for a young/teen person reached via stairs but I don't recall a door. A most striking thing is the attention to detail - there are cleaning products for about any type of cleaning activity one could imagine, the kitchen has everything and more and a cupboard in the lounge, containing a really interesting range of DVDs, even has a small torch in it to better read the titles. Dining area is perhaps slightly on the tight side, certainly for large family meals - but that would be really picky! City centre is a good 15 - 20 minutes walk away but I had an injured ankle and we caught cabs for between 7-12 pounds. We were out virtually all day and back late, so actually didn't take full advantage of the apartment, which was a shame for us. More luxurious than most apartments at this price, and in a lovely inner historical suburban area of Edinburgh, I would highly recommend this apartment. I challenge you to find a piece of additional equipment that Karen should supply!

Thank you for taking the time to write a very descriptive review to help future guests. Sorry you missed the folding door to the loft study which is against the wall. We are pleased you enjoyed staying at our place.

"Beautiful apartment, great location"

We stayed here to attend a family wedding in Edinburgh. It is an immaculately maintained, beautifully presented apartment with space and light. We felt very welcomed and were much more comfortable and private than we would have been in an hotel. Having the use of a well equipped kitchen and comfortable sitting room was a real bonus. The location is very quiet but handy for lots of attractions, and the centre of Edinburgh is a cheap taxi fare away. We also appreciated the parking space; Edinburgh is the ultimate nightmare city for parking and to have parking available is essential.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are glad you found our place suitable. We strive to maintain a clean, comfortable and welcoming home from home.
