Quiet elegance in the heart of Edinburgh - a modern 2 bedroom apartment is one of 6 in a 1880's west end mansion. It is only a 15 min walk to Princes St, Haymarket train station, Stockbridge, Murrayfield rugby stadium, pubs, shops, restaurants, and other major attractions. There is also an excellent bus service near the apartment that goes to the city center and all major attractions.

The apartment has its own private entrance leading to a grand hallway with skylight. This spacious apartment (total 1300 sq ft) is on 2 levels.. The double bedroom has an en suite shower with toilet and the main bathroom has a luxurious V & A stone bath with shower attachment. There is a private driveway with a free parking space for 1 car.

The impressive Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art is just behind the apartment and has beautiful gardens, interesting exhibitions and great cafes.

Edinburgh is called the 'Festival City' - Home of the Edinburgh Fringe, Edinburgh International Festival, Jazz and Blues Festival, Film Festival and many others.

Edinburgh Zoo - home of the pandas is near the apartment.

Various walkways and cycle paths throughout the Lothians and Edinburgh.


Ravelston, in the west side of Edinburgh, is a tranquil residential area with parks and walkways. The Water of Leith is only 5 minutes from the apartment - this is beautiful way to walk or cycle to Stockbrdige, Murrayfield even all the way to Leith.

The Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art is directly behind apartment, with great cafes for breakfast and lunch.

The apartment is walking distance (approx 15 min ) to pubs, restaurants, shops, city center and major attractions. Stockbridge (15 min walk) offers specialist food stores and a twice weekly Farmers Market.

There is also a good regular bus service to the city center and all major attractions.

"Fantastic apartment"

This is the second time we have stayed in this apartment in 6 months (unheard of for us) and this was just as good an experience as the first. Very comfortable, clean and attractive apartment in good, quiet location with parking. Can't be bettered.

Overall it was a lovely modern and a super place to relax as in very quite location but not to far from the hustle and bustle of the city .

Thank you for writing this review - we love the peaceful and quiet location too and the flat is only 15 minute walk to Princes St, Stockbridge, Murrayfield and lots more.
