This fabulous 3rd floor flat is in the centre of Stockbridge, an area known as the bohemian part of the city, stacked with art galleries, boutiques, coffee shops, chic restaurants and pubs. It is a 15 minute walk to Princess Street (Edinburgh Castle) and a 10 minute walk from the world-renowned Botanical gardens.

The entrance hall leads to a light and comfortable dining/lounge area with french door open to the sunny balcony. A fully fitted/equipped kitchen with breakfast table. There are three bedrooms; one with super king beds and en-suite shower room. One with twin beds and the third room with s sofa bed, one family bathroom with bath and shower. The emphasis is on relaxation with comfy beds, classy linen, cosy duvets, powerful showers and fluffy towels. This is a quiet street, with minimal traffic. Parking is free for one car (allocated space). On street parking also available with pay and display.

You won't have to run to the shops straight away as I leave you basics so that you can have a cup of tea and toast on your arrival, plus the usual salt, pepper, oil etc.

The Lothians region

Throughout summer Edinburgh hosts the largest international arts festival in the world. Comedy, drama, dance, music as well as a book and film festival and all located within the city.

While in Edinburgh as well as seeing the castle you should make every effort to attend a Ceilidh or Scottish dancing. This is a fantastic night out for all ages.

If you are a keen golfer, Edinburgh has five golf course within the city which requires no membership to play. These golf courses are open all year round.

Edinburgh also provides great hill walking opportunities such as the Pentland hills located in the outskirts of the city or Arthur seat which is just a walk away from the famous Holyrood Palace, the Scottish parliament and the royal mile which is filled with shops and cafes.


Located at west end of Stockbridge well established residential area less one mile from famous Princes Street and Edinburgh Castle.

A short distance away from Waitrose supermarket and retail park 5 minute drive away offering a Marks and Spencer's, Boots, TK MAXX, other high street brands.

Stockbridge is also a superb location, Modern Art Gallery, Royal Botanical Gardens all within 10 minutes walk. Many fine restaurants including Chinese, Indian, Italian all within walking distance. It has a lovely river running through known as the water of Leith which has a foot path that you can enjoy a long walk or cycle around the city.

An excellent local bus service provides easy access to the City Centre and surrounding areas.

The apartment was in great condition with plenty of room for the 5 off us. Rui had provided lots of basics such as tea, coffee, milk, bread and so on which allowed us to settle in before we needed to … More
