Drummond apartment is in the Old Town of Edinburgh and is a perfect base for exploring Edinburgh. The Royal mile and Edinburgh Castle, Geography and Law buildings, Waverley station, Museums, the Festival theatre and old closes are a stones throw away! It has a secure carpark and there is a lift from the park to the apartment. It has three bed rooms and 2 bathrooms and an open plan kitchen-sitting room. WiFi. Surrounded by wonderful eateries and Blackwells bookshop.

On the lower floor is a bedroom with a kingsize bed and a mirrored wardrobe, and a bathroom with an overhead electric shower. The kitchen /sitting room is on this floor adjacent to the bedroom and bath room. On the mezzanine level there is a twin room above the kitchen/sitting room, through which a shower room and single room are accessed. The single bed can be folded out to a double bed. It is more comfortable for 2 or 4 however 6 is possible.

It is a contempoary flat within an old building. A perfect base for exploring Edinburgh.

"Lovely, well-equipped apartment in a great location"

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in this property whilst we were in Edinburgh for a wedding. It was brilliantly located, had everything we needed, and all communications with the owner were clear and friendly. It is a bit smaller than it looks in the pictures, so it might be a squeeze if all beds were occupied, but certainly we didn't have any problems - we would definitely return if we visited the city again.

"Great location"

Travelled with my husband and three 20 something kids. The arrangements to pick up the key could have been handled a bit better as we experienced a bit of a problem accessing the apt. The keys to the apt were left inside the building but we were not able to access as the entry door requires a key. We had to stand in the rain about 10 min. until someone left to gain entry. The apartment is a converted school that is located in a safe area a short 5 min. walk to the Royal Mile. Restaurants, bars and shopping are nearby and a Tesco grocery store is conventiently located only a 2 min. walk away. The apt is on the 4th floor and is on the smaller side but then again most are in Britain. Although there were enough beds for 5-6 people the seating in the kitchen only accomodated 4. The kitchen and living area are one room and is very small. At times it seemed somewhat crowded especially at meal time. There are two bathrooms which is a plus. This apt is an open concept meaning that the living area is open to the second bedroom upstairs and the masterbedroom on the main floor is open to the third bedroom. Not a whole lot of privacy/quiet but then again we were with our older children who stayed up later than we did. If you are travelling with young kids this may not be a problem. We had an issue with the internet connection as the previous renter had changed the password. In the end my computer savy son was able to reset it and get it working. Overall our stay was great. I would stay here again but with fewer adults and would make sure key arrangements were better.
