BookThe Lothians / Midlothian region
Edinburgh is a world famous city and is often referred to as the "Athens of the North". It is the second largest city in Scotland and is the seat of the Scottish Parliament. The city hosts the annual Edinburgh Festival, a group of official and independent festivals held annually over about four weeks beginning in early August. The number of visitors attracted to Edinburgh almost doubles the resident population.
The most well-known of these events is the Edinburgh Fringe, the largest performing arts festival in the world. The Edinburgh International Festival, the E Military Tattoo; and the Edinburgh International Book Festival also occur in August. Other events include the Hogmanay street party and the Beltane Fire Festival. Edinburgh attracts over 1 million overseas visitors a year, making it the most visited tourist destination in the United Kingdom, after London.

Small but clean newly furnished and fully accessoried apartment, 200 meters from Royal Mile and 7 minutes from Central Rail Station. Placed in a very silent and strategical area. This is the best for anyone want to visit Edinburgh. I indeed recommend it. |
