Located in the heart of the city's old town, this restful first floor self catering apartment overlooks the cobbles of the historic Royal Mile. A five minute walk from Waverley train station and the airport bus terminus, it is perfectly located for exploring the area's warren of mediaeval closes (alleyways) that extend to either side of the street all the way from the Castle at the top to the Royal Palace at the bottom.
Accommodation comprises Lounge with a double sofa bed, double bedroom, twin bedroom, fully equipped kitchen and shower room.
Traditional tenement flat with contemporary decoration and fittings.
In relation to the availability of Wifi whilst the apartment does not have it own, we are in a BT Openzone hotspot and you can purchase internet on line with BT. If you are a BT user then you just need to log on to gain access.

Situated right on the Royal Mile our apartment is right in the heart of the old town and as such is superbly located for all the Historica City of Edinburgh has on offer - with only a 5 minute walk to Edinburgh Castle, Whisky Heritage Centre and the Camera Obscura which are all at the top of the mile. Or take a 10 minute walk to Holyrood Palace, the Museum of Child hood or John Knox House at the other end of the mile.
The Scottish National Portrait Gallery & Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art are only 15 minute walks from our front door.
Why not enjoy a trip into Edinburgh's past by visiting the Real Mary Kings Close which is on the Royal Mile
The Royal Yacht Britannia is berthed in Leith and can be reach by bus or taxi in approximately 10 minutes.
From July to August Edinburgh hosts a variety of festivals including book, comedy, film and infamous fringe festival. Watch the some of street entertainers from our lounge window.
Christmas and Hogmanay see Edinburgh host many winter celebrations with the Ferris Wheel, German & Christmas Markets on Princess Street. Edinburgh's famous Hogmanay celebration's are throughout the city and culminate with fire works launched from the Castle at midnight on the 31st December each year.

Very comfortably appointed apartment in an excellent location for viewing the lovely city of Edinburgh. Amenities all that you would need and a very friendly greeting from the host, plus a helpful folder of information about where to eat etc.
