About the home

This lovely modern second floor apartment (with lift) is ideally located for exploring Edinburgh and the surrounding area. It is only 10 minutes by bus from Princes Street, The Royal Mile and the Playhouse Theatre (or an approximately 20 minute walk).

There is free parking available with a residents guest permit (1 available per booking). Alternatively, a bus stop is only 1 minute walk away from the apartment, with direct buses to Princes Street and further away.

This light and airy apartment has a living room with comfortable seating area, flat screen TV, Stereo with Ipod docking station and Internet computer with broadband connection. Books, various board games and toys are provided for use by guests.

The modern stainless steel kitchen is fully-fitted with an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge-freezer and various kitchen gadgets.

There is one double bedroom with a small balcony, one twin bedroom and a comfortable luxurious double sofa bed in the living room, providing sleeping accommodation for up to 6 people. Duvets, pillows, linen and towels are included in the rental and changed on a weekly basis. A travel cot and high chair are supplied for the little guests.

The apartment has 2 bathrooms. The double bedroom has an en-suite shower room with shower, washbasin and toilet and the main family bathroom has a bath, shower, wash basin and toilet.

We are a non-smoking accommodation.

Pets:
Your pets are more than welcome to stay with you at the apartment. There are many places to walk your dog close to the apartment and the beach is only 10 minutes by car or 20 minutes by bus.

Shopping & Dining:
A supermarket and convenient small shops ranging from wine merchants, fruit and veg shops and gift shops are just a short walk away (Leith walk). For those who do not feel like cooking there are take-away shops and good quality restaurants very close by.

The Edinburgh / Leith area

Edinburgh has lots to offer for young and old. The Edinburgh International Festival, Edinburgh Festival Fringe and Book Festival draw crowds in August, and the Edinburgh Military Tattoo is sure not to disappoint.

But August is not the only time of year to visit our city. December offers the Capital Christmas Festival and the World Famous Edinburgh Hogmanay Celebrations. Rugby fans can enjoy the Heineken Rugby Final or the 6 Nations cup at various times of year, and other sporting events include the Bupa Great Edinburgh Run, The Moon Walk, Edinburgh Marathon and much more.

The Film Festival in June brings in the rich and famous and not to miss for a bit of star spotting and good films from all over the world.

But there is much more. Whether you wish to trace your ancestors, visit the castle, explore the dark underground world by taking an exciting ghost tour or shop till you drop, you will find it in Edinburgh. And with excellent restaurants and bars and a great farmers market Edinburgh firmly established its self on the culinary map of Britain. A real foodie heaven!

We are located just 1 Mile from Pinces Street and a direct bus will take you there from the end of our street.

There are various airlines that fly to Edinburgh, including low costs airlines like Easyjet and Ryanair.

There is free parking with a permit (one available per booking) and extra cars can use the paid parking zone.

The transport links in and around Edinburgh are great so you won't need a car once you're here. There is a bus stop at the end of our street (100 meters walk) from where you can take a bus into Princes Street.

If you do want to rent a car, the closest car rental is Hertz at Picardy Place or Nationwide at Annandale Street.

“Very large two bedroom apartment in Edinburgh” Very large two bedroom apartment in Edinburgh. Close by taxi to attractions. Great place to relax, yet enjoy the city highlights.

“A really well presented apartment with extremely spacious accommodation.” The apartment was light, airy and extremely spacious. Everything was in good working order and extremely clean and well presented. It is worth noting that it backed onto a graveyard, which may not appeal to everyone. We stayed here during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and found the location to be convenient. Not right in the town center which may have been a little noisy but near enough to walk (20mins) or bus/taxi. There was a parking space available and we took our dog who settled very well and enjoyed the park around the corner for his walks.

“Lovely Apartment” I stayed here with a group of friends, there were 6 of us in total. The apartment was great. It was really well presented, modern and very clean. It was very spacious and comfortable. It had everything you could need for your stay, and it was great value. The area was nice and it is not far from the city centre. there is a bus stop at the end of the road which can take you straight into town but the walk wasn't bad.

“Excellent accomodation - highly recommend it!!!!!” Excellent place to stay for location, access, comfort!! I could not fault this apartment at all. It was very clean warm and cosy. A group of six girls went, two double rooms and a pull out sofa, which was more comfortable than the beds. A few nice touches with flowers and biscuits! It was only £6 in a taxi to the city centre which was cheaper for us rather than getting the bus. I will definately be back. Highly recommend these apartments.
