About the home

Classic Edinburgh Charm; this delightful ground floor main door apartment has traditional features typical of it’s Marchmont location. The pretty front garden provides a charming welcome to the apartment. Also features a super communal back green plus its own drying area.

Positioned close to The Meadows and Edinburgh University and around a 20 minute walk to the Royal Mile or short bus ride it is in a super location from which to explore Edinburgh as it has excellent local amenities including cafes, bars, restaurants and deli’s whilst being in easy reach of the city centre.

There is a large living room and lovely kitchen with dining area, 2 bedrooms and main bathroom with power shower and there is also outdoor garden space at the rear of the property. This is an ideal family and small group accommodation that will allow guests to experience the city whilst being based in a great Edinburgh neighbourhood.

One bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom has a double and a single in it. Perfect for families or small groups.

We reserve the right to vet any group booking. This apartment is not suitable for stag parties, hen parties or young single sex groups. One member of the booking party must be over 25yrs. Strictly non smoking.

From the historic cobbled streets, wynds and courtyards of the medieval old town to the elegant Georgian New town, Edinburgh is not only beautiful but also steeped in history - making it a top destination. Wonder the streets by foot to soak up the atmosphere or take a guided tour and learn more about the fascinating history of Scotland's capital.

Edinburgh's weather can be unpredictable and during the summer it is advisable to bring a waterproof jacket. However it can be reasonably warm - up to about 24 degrees so pack that T-shirt too!

The apartment is in the cosmopolitan area of Marchmont with plenty of local amenities. Indeed less than a minutes walk are a couple of cafes, such as Freemans selling artisan coffee and delicious food. It is also very close to Bruntsfield, another delightful area of Edinburgh, packed full of wonderful boutiques, restaurants and pubs.

The city centre is easily walk-able from this apartment, making it a great choice if you want to sample staying slightly out of the city centre yet be handily close. Indeed it is a very pleasant walk into town, through the meadows and the Old Town.

Don't miss out on a walk round the lovely meadows, or if a sunny day, do as the locals do and wile away a few hours with a picnic!
