The apartment is in the best possible position for transport and nightlife. There are dozens of restaurants and pubs within the immediate vicinity and Ocean Terminal with it's shops, eating places, cinema and the Royal Yacht is a 10 minute walk.

The property has everything you need for a short or long stay. It is built to a high standard, fully insulated with efficient heating and extremely comfortable. There is free unlimited internet with wi-fi. The private parking may prove to be very useful for people arriving by car.
One of the owners will normally meet to hand over the keys and answer any questions you may have.
A deposit if £100 or credit card details will be required on arrival for security. A 25% deposit is required to secure your booking. The property is not suitable for children under the age of 10 or wheelchair users. No pets or smoking.
The Lothians / Midlothian region
Edinburgh is renowned as one of Europe's most interesting and vibrant capitals. It is a very walkable city with most of the sites/galleries/museums being relatively close to each other. If you come during August the biggest arts festival in the world will be taking place all over the city providing 24 hour entertainment. There are also many places of interest which you can easily visit on a day trip such as St. Andrews, Glasgow, Perthshire and the borders.
Leith has become a vibrant district with many eating places, cosy pubs and Ocean Terminal with it's shops, cinema and the Royal Yacht. Indeed there are 3 Michelin starred restaurants within a 5 minute walk from the apartment one of which is directly opposite.
The Edinburgh area
Places of interest include the Castle, Holyrood, Scottish Parliament, Royal Yacht, several galleries and museums, shops etc.
There are scores of restaurants, cafes, incredibly atmospheric pubs, shops such as Harvey Nicols and relaxing open spaces such as Holyrood Park with it's panoramic views over Edinburgh and beyond.

Located on Edinburgh's eastern shore the apartment is situated on the water in the heart of vibrant Leith a 10 minute journey from the centre of town. It is very easy to get to. From the airport take the bus into town then the number 22 bus ( every 10 minutes ) from Princes St. to the water of Leith. The bus stop is opposite the apartment.
If arriving by train you walk the few metres from Waverley Station to Princes St then take the number 22 bus. If driving we will supply directions and there is private parking at the property.

The apartment was everything that we had hoped for plus more. It was like staying in a hotel, but with all the benefits of a home.
The bedding, towels, all of the kitchen equipment plus fabulous deck were all top class with all the rooms in excellent condition.
Could not find any faults!
The situation was great, being close to the city, without actually being in it.
It was great after a hectic days sightseeing, to be able to come back to the apartment and relax, pop over to the pub across the canal and have a bite to eat & a pint! Then a short stroll back...then to sit on the deck and watch the world go by morning and evening, was a great way to relax.
The bus was a few minutes walk across from the apartment, with a trip taking about 10 mins or so into the heart of Edinburgh, Fantastic!
The Indian Restaurant across the canal and the Italian Restaurant on the corner- fantastic food, would recommend to anyone!
The owners were very helpful, and we could only say, the next time we are in Scotland, we will certainly be staying here again.

Very good apartment. Clean with all necessary amenities. Great location for restaurants and bars within The Shore at Leith. Transport into Edinburgh easy with bus stops within very short walk of apartment.
Short walk to Sainsbury's store for your necessities.
Minor points for improvement...shower head in en suite needs fixed, window blind in en suite needs fixed and being such a modern flat a more up to date television would improve the look further.
Will recommend to friends and will use again.
