This first floor apartment opens into entrance hallway which has rooms radiating off it. The elegant sitting room, with lovely Georgian features has views over the attractive central garden. This room provides comfortable seating grouped round an beautiful marble fireplace over which a large mirror hangs; enhancing the feeling of light and space. Large bookshelves house an interesting array of reading matter and there is also a TV with DVD Player making this a lovely spot in which to relax.

A light and spacious dining kitchen has attractive vistas towards the north of the city. A large table in the centre of the room provides seating for 6. The well designed kitchen has plenty of cupboards and workspace making this an ideal choice for those intending to make the most of using the local produce on offer and spend some time cooking. There is plenty of cookware, crockery and cutlery provided as well as a hob and oven, fridge freezer, and dishwasher.

Two comfortable bedrooms both provide plenty of hanging and drawer space. The Master bedroom which is decorated in calming neutral tones has a double bed and overlooks the garden. A second twin bedroom is to the rear of the property and has zip and link beds which can be arranged as a double on request.

A hallway off the kitchen leads to a utility room with washer/drier - an iron and ironing board are provided -. and also to the very spacious bathroom with original wooden floors which has a bath with shower over, a w.c and wash hand basin.

Primarily famed for the Fringe Festival and it's New Year festivities Edinburgh is a wonderful city to visit at any time of year. The historic Old Town draws visitors from all round the globe. This lively area offers a wide range of tourist attractions from the Castle to the Camera Obscura. The Georgian New Town is the largest area of Georgian buildings in the world characterised by leafy garden squares and a grandeur of architecture.

Edinburgh offers a diverse selection of cultural pursuits - excellent art galleries and museums and plenty of history as well as a varied night-life, great restaurants and plenty of opportunity to shop.

Situated to the north east of the Georgian New Town, Stockbridge is a lively community with an excellent range of shops, bars, restaurants and galleries and boutiques. A short stroll through the elegant streets of the New Town allows one to be in the city centre in 10 minutes. Local attractions include the Water of Leith - one can walk along this to the Modern Art and the Dean Galleries or to the Royal Botanic Gardens which offer pleasure year round.

Don't forget to stroll along the Stockbridge High Street where you will find many local shops offering wonderful Scottish delicacies together with boutiques and galleries.

"Stunning and perfectly situated apartment for a special weekend."

Saxe Coburg, I believe is a very exclusive address. A large imposing building in a beautiful cresent, the interior is beautiful the apartment wonderful for a romantic weekend. Situated in the affluent Stockbridge area there are restaurants and bars aplenty (loved Hamiltons). It's very well located having the Royal Botantical Gardens less than 10 minutes away and a walk into the centre of the city a mere 15-20 minute stroll. Everything is on your doorstep - a great butcher, cheese monger and wine merchant on the high street & the locals are friendly and very inviting. The best taxi firm in town can be reached on 0131 555 5555.
The apartment was offers so much natural light through the large windows in every room, warm, inviting and the fire in the sitting room was relaxing and just perfect to start or end the day.
We will definately stay at Saxe Coburg again and would recommend this to family & friends. Wonderful, thank you again.
