This first floor apartment situated in a Georgian tenement block sleeps up to 3 people and is characterised by attractive original features. The living area, with a pretty original tiled fire place, TV with access to multi channels and Video, CD player, comfortable leather sofas providing seating for 4 together with a single sofa bed . The sitting room has been tastefully furnished by the owner and is filled with personal touches, lovely pictures, interesting ceramics and pieces of sculpture. A cupboard to the rear of the living room houses the washing machine. The owner has provided WiFi for the use of guests travelling with their computers.

A bright galley kitchen seats up to 3 people at a pretty round table in the window overlooking Elm Row. The kitchen is equipped with fridge freezer, oven, hob, microwave, Belfast sink and attractive painted units. There is also a clothes airer on a pulley.

An attractive sunny double bedroom situated quietly to the rear of the building, overlooking trees and gardens, and a single sofa bed in the living room.The Bedroom is furnished with a double bed surrounded by a wooden shelved unit with reading lights and a separate large wardrobe. There is a clothes press for guests use.

The charming period bathroom provides a large white bath with shower over it, heated towel rail, wooden floor and toilet with original wooden seat.

Close to Princes Street and George Street this an ideal base for guests wishing to engage in retail therapy. The elegant streets of the Georgian New Town are close by and the historic sights on the Royal Mile can be reached on foot although there are plenty of good bus services close by. Calton Hill with its eye-catching monuments and fantastic views makes a lovely stroll - especially at sunset or in the early morning.
